Fire Sale on the Latvian Railway

One of the tropes on this blog always was that Russophobia leads to poverty, destitution, and decay. And this goes not just for utter shitholes of the East like Ukraine or Moldova, this concerns all the post-communists countries where Russophobic sentiments fueled by local Western funded activists and encouraged by the US government (I do not think historical memory of Soviet domination is the major factor behind these sentiments) posing as politicians and journalists lead to the destruction of infrastructure, decay of economy, and missed opportunities…

One of the policies of Russia in recent years was to redirect its infrastructure to bypass the formerly communist nations of Eastern Europe and instead deal with more confident nations like Germany or Turkey. This is how Bulgarians missed out on the Black Sea pipeline, and in the works is the Czech Republic missing on the opportunity to expand its nuclear power plants if it listens to the voices that urge the government to boycott the Rosatom bid.

And for a good example of missed opportunity and subsequent industrial decay, we should look to Latvia. Latvia has sinned against the Russian people, it has discriminated against them, it has made them second class citizens. Latvia has also been guilty of shamelessly glorifying Nazi collaborators. Meanwhile, Latvia was a large transport corridor for Russian coal and other resources that used the ports on the Baltic Sea. Latvia also joined NATO, another unfriendly act, and Russia quietly built her own port on the Baltic Sea and stopped the shipments through Latvia.

The RuBaltic reports that the Latvian Railways plan to sell 4,300 tons of scrap metal from rails, pointers and other pieces of infrastructure. In May last year, the Latvian railways sold their real estate in Jelgava, the building in question was used as a recreation home for the employees of the railways. The logic is simple, no employees, no recreation home. In June the Latvian Railways put up for sale 46 cars. In July, the Railways put up for sale the station in Suntaži. In August, the Latvian Railways put up for sale 200 transport wagons. In September they put up for sale 3,500 tons of scrap metals. In November it was 8 locomotives. Further more automibiles have been put up for sale in December…

British Pop-History Book About Vikings Banned in Ukraine

The authorities in Ukraine have banned the above book because apparently it refers to Rus princes as Russian. Isn’t Russian the correct adjective from Rus? Rus is actually used as an adjective by contemporary historians in the West to differentiate it from the Muscovite Russia few centuries later. But in reality, Rus and Russia mean the same thing. The issue the Ukrainian censors have is that they are trying to promote Ukrainian history, a fraudulent framework, where there isn’t any place for Russia. Somehow it does not strike them that their ancestors thought themselves part of one Russian whole. That history is now forbidden in the country.

John Haywood is a British historian, who specializes in the history of early Europe and is an author of a number of publications that I like to call pop-history. It is the kind of stuff you find in a general bookstore in the UK.

But the more interesting is a look at the profiles of people that banned the publication in Ukraine. Ukrainian vloger Olesya Medvedeva has details.

In 2017, the Government Committee for Television and Radio Broadcast acquired the right to review the publishing industry. The people from the committee now had the right to monitor language norms and the fulfillment of quota on Ukrainian language. The committee also monitored imported literature, and would dole out fines to businesses that sold banned production, and the list of banned books and films from Russia is truly extensive, literally hundreds of titles. The committee has a special council for the analysis of published works. So who is on the council?

Serhiy Oleynik – a veteran of Ukraine’s war against Eastern Separatists. He is member of OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists). He also wrote a column for the Censor.net.
Bohdan Chervak – the head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists.
Valery Gostinshchikov – writer, an author of the book Encyclopedia of Secret Societies that according to Jewish organizations talks about a World Zionist Conspiracy.
Taras Zdorovylo – journalist of the Ukrayina Moloda, in his articles he praises Andriy Melnyk, Nazi and Anti-Semitic inspirer of pogroms in Western Ukraine. Taras Zdorovylo also writes propagandistic articles against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in communion with the Moscow Patriarchate.
Oleg Matvienko – From the organization Civic Resistance (these organizations have names like illegal Neonazi groups here in Central Europe). He is famous for bringing the secret service to trial for inaction on countering toxic literature from Russia.

There are five more people on the council but I chose to speak about these to illustrate that the ideological control over published works in Ukraine is being maintained by radical nationalists and related quacks. The entire cultural and social sphere in Ukraine has been outsourced to radical nationalists.

The term “animal show” was likely inspired by “zveriachi bobyt’ia” (animalistic beatings), a term coined by the Ukrainian media, who were almost ubiquitously for the Maidan. It was almost like the owners of the media supported what was happening in central Kiev. Also, the revolution was not just televised but it was properly organized with media support, buses, food, blankets, tents, portable toilets etc. Furthermore, the state apparatus was paralyzed by sabotage an inaction.

The Russians in fact have more self worth because they would not wreck their country like the Ukrainians did. Imagine if anyone tried Maidan in Ollie’s native United Kingdom, how long would he last? Besides, this British interloper appears to support the opposition tactic of drawing out the kiddies, that is mobilizing teenagers for protest. I think the Russians are masochists allowing this creature to live and work in Russia.

And also, the claims that children were beaten are in themselves a propaganda tactic. In Kiev, it was later discovered that many of those beaten children were over 30.

Volkov and Ashurkov Hysterically Call for Sanctions in the Wake of Their Boss’ Incarceration

A close ally of jailed Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny on Monday urged the West to hit President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle with personal sanctions, predicting the move could trigger potentially destabilising infighting among Russia’s elite.

Aha, this is what they want, they want to create a discord in the Russian elite by banning them from travel to the West and forbidding them from buying property and holding assets there. Isn’t that cute? How open they are about this.

Well, if you think people with money stashed in the West can challenge Putin, fair enough. This ain’t Ukraine however, I bet any potential challengers were already neutered a long time ago. Russia doesn’t need disloyal individuals that cling to money stashed in the West…

Leonid Volkov, who is wanted by Russian authorities on accusations he illegally encouraged minors to attend anti-Kremlin protests, made the call on the eve of a court hearing that could see Navalny jailed for three-and-a-half years.

I am glad the Russian authorities began dealing out sentences for pimping out kids to protests. These literal motherfuckers try to entice impressionable young people, who do not have life experience to protest for their clown leader, and then get handled by the riot police. Then they scream bloody murder, “they are beating kids”, THE KIDS!

This is criminal behavior and ought to be punished severely. Lithuania and the EU are hiding a dangerous child molester and should extradite his ass immediately to the loving embrace of the Russian system of justice.

Vladimir Ashurkov, another Navalny ally, published a letter addressed to U.S. President Joe Biden on Saturday appealing for sanctions against businessmen and officials identified as being close Putin allies.

This Vladimir Ashurkov has been notorious in trying to damage the Russian business and interests through appeals to Western authorities. Recently, the Federal Security Service, FSB published a video featuring this little twerp discussing things with James William Thomas Ford from the British embassy. Among the issues discussed is how they could run an information campaign with the help of the British to damage the good name of Russian banks and businessmen.

Diplomats of These Countries Were Present at Navalny’s Court Hearing on 31 January

In total, around 20 representatives of the diplomatic mission in Russia attended the hearing. The support for this petty criminal in the West is overwhelming. In the Czech Republic, the Senate voted to condemn the trial of Alexey Navalny. The Parliament and the presidential office remained neutral, which is commendable. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not and engaged in shameful and unproductive virtue signaling by summoning the Russian ambassador.

Anywhere else in Europe and North America we have witnessed absolutely baseless attempts to condemn the Russian justice system for trying to do their job. And I wonder, do the Russian political attachés in Western countries also visit trials of local dissidents? The Russian diplomats are often not even allowed to attend trials of their own citizens.

There Aren’t any Pro-Russian Parties in Ukraine

Commenting on the supportive message of the American embassy in Kiev to the initiative to close allegedly pro-Russian TV stations, the RT journalist Brian MacDonald seems to have bought into the narrative that there are pro-Russian forces in Ukraine…

The banned TV channels were linked to Taras Kozak, who is said to be connected with the Opposition Platform for Life, the largest opposition group that has been accused of holding a pro-Russian position. It is a group formed of the former Party of Regions elements that were left orphaned after the Maidan. They formed the parliamentary opposition to the triumphant forces of the Maidan that took over in 2014. Today they have a sizeable support in the East because Zelensky sucks, the economy sucks, everything sucks…

In times like these people run to whoever talks sweet. But the question is, are the post-Reginnaires pro-Russian? Well, I have a test of pro-Russianness, “do you support joining the Eurasian Union and the CSTO?” Unless those are your aims, you are not pro-Russian. The difference in Ukraine on the Russian question is between, do you want Ukrainisation now and Bandera now, or do you wanna wait until tomorrow? And the so called “pro-Russian parties” in question would like to wait until tomorrow…

One of the channels banned is ZIK, which in 2014-2016 was known to me as a place where the Ukrainian secret service would plant information. The other channels I know were at least providing a forum for debate between forces critical of the government and its supporters. I do not view opposition to forcible Ukrainisation, support for the Russian language that is actually more native to Ukraine than English to Ireland, and opposition to the glorification of Nazi collaborators as a particularly pro-Russian position.

And the time of the Regionnaires rule in Ukraine, from the late 2000s to 2014 was quite bad for pro-Russian activism. Declaring a pro-Russian position even then meant drawing the attention of the secret service, many of the organizations were driven underground, activists harassed. The pro-Russian activism was supported by the Party of Regions during the Yushchenko years but then after the Regionnaires seized power, the various pro-Russian and left wing groups that helped them rise were promptly discarded and abandoned. This actually led to a number o the previously pro-Russian individuals to switch gears completely and become Ukrainian nationalists.

The ideologically firm pro-Russians that I knew 10 years ago are all in exile in RF, in LDNR or dead. Onufrienko, Chalenko, Tsarev, Markov are in RF, and Buzyna is dead. Do I have to mention that the Oppostion Platform for Life includes people that were involved in the Maidan and supression of pro-Russian forces in the East of the country? Sergey Levochkin is rumored to have a direct hand in the Maidan and there are photos his wife attending the pro-West and anti-Russian demonstration. Ilya Kiva was personally responsible for the suppression of pro-Russian forces in the Donetsk oblast in 2014. Mykola Karpyuk, a Ukrainian nationalist who fought against Russian forces in Transnistria and Abkhazia, says Rabinovych, another leader from the Opposition Platform for Life helped the Right Sector and other Ukrainian nationalists. Rabinovych was personally involved in getting Karpyuk out of Russian jail.

With friends like these, who needs enemies? The accusation of pro-Russianness is used against any and all opponents of the current government in Ukraine. In reality, the Ukrainian political scene has long been cleansed of any Russian influence in a process that began long before the eventful 2014.

Why are All West’s Heroes in Russia Shady Crooks?

Every single leader of the anti-Putin struggle has a terribly shady history…

Take for instance Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the man had a reputation of a crook, he did not pay taxes and was brought to trial. But in the West, the man was suddenly turned into a hero unjustly persecuted by evil Putin. He was presented by some pundits as a real threat to Putin and a suitable candidate to replace him. Strangely enough though, he has never shown any interest in holding a political office prior to being incarcerated. Khodorkovsky’s only interest in politics was to manipulate local politicians to do his bidding.

Then there is Bill Browder, with his fraudulent sob story about “lawyer” Magnitsky, which has become part of anti-Russian legislature in many countries in the West. Bill Browder was involved in some super profitable machinations with shares that attracted the attention of the prosecutors. Suddenly he magically transformed into Putin’s enemy.

Alexey Navalny is notoriously known for being a fraudster, even among the Russian liberals. Rumors have it that he stole 100 million rubles from Soyuz Pravych Sil (Union of Right-Wing Forces). Kirov Les affair is well know, and there is no reason not to believe that he swindled Yves Rocher, although now he tries to vehemently politicize his case. Newest accusation is that he used donations given to his organization for personal matters together with his comrades.

Simply put, all of West’s heroes are fraudsters and shady characters. How do they wish to win anything in Russia?

Social Media Must be Punished for Censorship

The biggest commodity, the vital resource of the social media are the people. And the best reaction to censorship is to stop using the platforms that treated you this way…

Have these things ever happened to you?

You have been sanctioned by social media moderators after trolling around certain political figures, or pages of political parties? Know that these figures have a direct contact to the moderators, who are tasked with censoring dissenting views. These politicians have purposely pressured Facebook and Twitter to do something about their trolls, that is anyone that disagrees with their actions and opinions.
You have had your functions disabled or account terminated for an old entry that nobody was seeing. This is done for a simple reason, so that the people effected feel guilty of having committed a transgression.
You have had your functions disabled or account terminated for something trivial like a joke about gay sex and the fashion industry, or a joke meme featuring some Nazi official. Neither was homophobic or promoted Nazism but they blocked you and deleted your profile anyway. Whether this is because they purposefully decided to persecute your online persona, or due to an algorithm should not interest you because at the end of the day, this is censorship.

Know this, if you hold pro-Russian, conservative, anti-immigration, anti-globalist views, they will censor you. The American social media are completely in the hands of liberal billionaires, who don’t care about people like you, and they despise you, and do not want you on their platform. This is why they have delegated their moderation to radical progressive leftists in the West, and anti-Russian neonazis in places like Ukraine. This is all motivated by political pressure, and secret service involvement.

But at the end of the day, you are their prized commodity, and they exist to serve you advertisement. If you are using them, you are making them money, and they censor you for your opinion, for having fun on their website? Why are you still using them? Why are you registering a new account when they delete your old one? Isn’t this type of draconian ostracism of your persona a reason enough to quit? After all, you make them money, even if your presence is worth few cents.

If you are reading this, you are probably a politically opinionated person. Well, guess what? Facebook no longer wants to be a space for politics! In the wake of the Capitol riots, they said they will not offer people political groups anymore. Apparently, the plebs have been sharing too much sensitive information, and that’s why it needs to be shut down. The question is, as a person involved in politics, is it not time to be looking for different avenues of communication?

Now, there other but related arguments for quitting social media. Your mental health and your productivity suffer and your personal life is invaded by a dealer of advertisement to a point where it becomes rather creepy. These days, I work on my PC and leave my phone in another room. I don’t even have YouTube videos playing on it anymore.
