Miners can Move to Poland

This story has it all, it confirms number of theses that I make on this blog, and that is…

  1. America cucks and pwns East European economies.
  2. The relationship Eastern Europe has with America is toxic.
  3. Russophobia leads to poverty and degradation.

The other day, the Acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Yuri Vitrenko held a meeting discussing the Uranium producing mine and factory Vostochny. The company has long been in trouble because Ukraine decided to switch its nuclear powerplants from Russian made fuel to American made fuel. The company Vostochny produces uranium for Russian TVEL nuclear fuel. The Americans don’t need Ukrainian uranium as they have their own sources. There were plans to create a joint venture with the Russians to make nuclear fuel in Ukraine, which would make uranium from Vostochny relevant. Otherwise, the Ukrainian produced uranium is a bit too expensive compared to other sources. But then Maidan came, a festival of Russophobia that led to a civil war, which the Ukrainian officialdom mendaciously call Russian-Ukrainian war, although there isn’t any official declaration of war from Kiev.

And voila, the Vostochny uranium factory is in financial trouble. The workers are not paid and the minister threatens to close the whole thing down because it is not profitable. As to what will happen with the workers, the minister suggested they should move to Poland, where they will find better work conditions and better pay. And he also mentioned that remittances of migrant workers form the bulk of revenue for Ukraine’s economy. Vitrenko also invoked Adam Smith when he said that should there exist cheaper producers elsewhere in the World, Ukrainian producers should make way for them. Only that way, according to him, will Ukraine become rich. The minister was further asked what will happen if everyone leaves? Vitrenko is optimistic that people will always find work and Ukraine will continue producing stuff. He suggested people work in agriculture.

Funnily, I have now trolled Belorussian opposition with the words: “You will pick potatoes!” and the answer always is some bleating about freedom…

Twitter Censors Eduard Dolinsky by Hiding his Profile

The reason I stopped using Twitter and Facebook is because of wanton censorship. A variety of blockages, shadow bans, termination of accounts is being deployed against a vast variety of people for an incredible range of transgressions. Sometimes you don’t even know what caused the ban you received. There is illegal content that should absolutely be removed from websites but most people are not sanctioned for any of that. And really, the correct answer, the minute you receive a ban is to stop using that site. There is Telegram, and everyone is posting there…

Now sometimes, the social media engage in a strange obstruction of content. Eduard Dolinsky is the head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee and regularly posts information regarding the rampant rehabilitation of Nazi collaborators in Ukraine. This is what his Twitter page looks like when you load it…

So, apparently, brining attention to monuments to Nazis is including sensitive content. Look at the way the profile is hidden from view, as if it was deleted. This is a form of censorship as there isn’t a valid reason to hide his profile and its contents.

And his posts are equally hidden…

There is an option to change settings but I will not register to Twitter again.

A Curious Identity Shift Among “Little Russian” US Emigrants in Autumn 1914

Similar shift happened in Austrian Halychyna shortly before WWI and most definitely during the Great War…

Note that the Austrians were rather successful in their support for Ukrainian nationalism, and the USA were neutral in 1914. Ruthenian and Little Russian is used interchangeably here. Although Little Russia was the area around the Dnieper River, Ruthenia is a Latin corruption of Rus.

Hungarian Way vs. Anal Way

Which way Visegrád man?

Václav Láska is a Czech senator, who suffers a serious case of cargo cult delusion. He toured the country few years ago giving speeches on how “the Czech Republic belongs to the West.” Above is his curious post, I translate:

The Hungarian way? The Hungarians are following only one way. How to become a vassal of Russia without the Warsaw Pact and the Comecon. Through Russian vaccines, through the construction of nuclear power plants by Rosatom. I would rather “go to the arse” than go the Hungarian way.

In Czech, the term “do prdele” to the arse is a common insult, identical in meaning to the Italian “va fan culo”.

Naturally, the responses to this magnificent tweet were often along the lines: “start packing suitcases.” I often responded to the suggestion that I should move to Russia with saying “you should move to arse, where you belong.”

I do not get what is wrong with Russians supplying a cure and keeping the lights on. And quite frankly, the choice between a “Hungarian way” and the arse can have more levels of meaning in our times.

The Prime Minister of Lithuania Thinks Sputnik V Divides us

The result of refusing Russian vaccine is that we now have a deficit. The demonization of Russia has deprived us of cure to Covid. And guess what, they cannot allow the idea that Russia may have the capacity to develop an effective cure. How can a country with economy the size of Italy (or was it Texas or Nigeria with snow?) have the capacity to develop and create anything? It does not fit into the propaganda narrative. And that’s why Lithuanians will be late adopters of whatever vaccines they eventually get hold of.

Zelensky Turned on a Full Nazi Mode

Ukraine is like a late Weimar Republic crossed with Haiti under Papa Doc, where local SA looks more like Tonton Macoutes…

As you probably may have heard, Ukraine’s president has banned 3 TV channels that were critical of the way things are going, that is doing the job journalists should be doing. But little attention was given to the fact that Neonazis were unleashed on the journalists. And I mean this literally and unironically, the Neonazis were seen picketing and provoking confrontation at TV Nash. One of these Neonazis was Vita Zaverukha.

Vita Zaverukha served in the battalion “Aidar”, a Neonazi paramilitary group that the post-Maidan government unleashed to suppress rebellion in the East of the country. She was accused of murdering of two policemen in a botched robbery in Kiev. Groups like “Aidar”, were mostly engaged in banditry, when they weren’t terrorizing the opponents of the Maidan. They preyed on the people of Donbas, and when that resource was harder to come by they turned their activities inland. Somehow she managed to escape justice, which is typical for members of these groups because they are all maintained by the Ministry of Interior.

Vita Zaverukha says Heil!:

Elle Magazine did a report featuring Vita about women fighters in Ukraine.

Most of the photos were found at Strana UA but some I took from Daily Mail. It seems like the only mainstream media in the West to report on this girl was Daily Mail, they love hardcore over there just like me.

A more sinister development in Ukraine is happening concurrently. The pro-Russian Zelensky decided to trump his predecessor Poroshenko and mandated the use of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of business. The issue here is that the Ukrainian language is not the vernacular in large swaths of Ukraine, and many people in Ukraine do not speak or use proper Ukrainian. The dominant language is Russian. Legislations on the linguistic issue is bound to create conflict and give various nationalist activists a carte blanche to harass people.

And what do you think happened? Conflict and harassment of people by the Nazis. A Jewish food store in Odessa, “U Moshkovychei” became a center of attacks by local Nazis after it posted a commercial in the Ukrainian language using Russian Cyrillic instead of Ukrainian.

Shalom dear friends

Next week, we will prepare real khinkali with lamb and the correct pastry. Stars have aligned, and a family friend visited us, a proper Georgian cook, Guladi. Do not miss this opportunity to do order, it will be on only for a month in Odessa.

Forever yours, your Deli u Moshkovychei

As you can see, the deli did nothing wrong, just followed the law that now all advertisement must be in Ukrainian. The owners understand Ukrainian but can’t write it. Activists have been quick:

16 January 2021, the linguistic patrol.

They assumed the deli was denigrating the Ukrainian language and began writing nasty comments to the owners and the business. And eventually the deli had to close…

https://strana.ua/news/314004-ukrainizatsija-sfery-usluh-top-5-skandalov-za-desjat-dnej.html

A deli that denigrated the Ukrainian language – WAS CLOSED!

I would like to first off thank everyone, who participated in the information pressure. You are wonderful.

This story became an example, nobody shall disrespect Ukrainian or Ukrainian laws.

Who is next?

What a peremoha (victory in Ukrainian), they shut down a small business over their linguistic anal pains, well done!

Another registered attack happened in Kiev. Young owner of a cafe decided to comply with the new regulations
