Russian Falcon?

There is a class of internet personalities (vloggers and bloggers) in Russia that in Russian are called охранители (ochraniteli, lit. “defenders”). They mostly put out patriotic and pro state content. I am a vatnik and I often watch this kind of content…

And for a while, this group of YouTube channels have put out content disparaging Elon Musk, belittling his achievements, and similar. When few channels and blogs do this in unison, it appears like an organised campaign. Entities with money these days do not shed resources on information campaigns because public opinion is everything. Morale must be maintained…

But if Elon Musk is doing it wrong, why then is Roskosmos copying his idea of partially reusable rockets to stay competitive with Musk’s Space X? Don’t get me wrong, I am totally for the proliferation of space technology, and believe that Roskosmos is on the right track with its decoupling from reliance on Kazakhstan’s Baykonur by building the Kosmodrom Vostochny, and now the development of reusable rockets. All power to them…

Lisbon City Hall Leaks Pavel Elizarov’s Personal Info to Russian MID

There is scandal in Lisbon. It became known that the city hall CML, where we are announcing our protests is forwarding all personal information about the organisers of the protests in support of Navalny to the Russian Embassy and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We discovered this by accident.

In January, while there was a lockdown, me and two other organisers have announced our protest for the 23, in front of the Russian Embassy via email. We have, as always included our personal information, number of the ID, address, telephone number.

We have first received the usual answer, and then in the spirit of the Covid era an answer from the Portuguese Ministry of Health, where, alongside their recommendations there was also a PDF attached with that personal information that we have provided! That is, they are sharing our personal information.

But that would be OK, nothing surprising, however, from the conversation it is apparent that the letter with the PDF was also forwarded to the Russian Embassy in Portugal and the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The city hall has issued an official apology, having pointed out that this is a common practice surrounding protests that take place near embassies. I hope they were doing this not being aware that they are putting people in danger, but I am not sure they have stopped this practice. We will have to solve it though courts.

LMAO! They are trying to be public figures and don’t think anyone will find their details? Here are some photos from from Pavel Elizarov’s profile, LMAO!

The Pyrrhic Victory of Svidomites Over Netfix Zrada

For Svidomites and Zrada, please consult my Glossary of Terms.

It looks like svidomites have won from Netflix a change of subtitles at the film Brat 2. Now instead of “Ukrainian Nazi Collaborator” it says “Banderite”. But is this a peremoha? While the Western audience does understand a little about Nazi collaboration, it may use Google to find out what Banderite is. They will find Wikipedia

The term derives from the name of Stepan Bandera (1909-1959), head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists that formed in 1929 as an amalgamation of movements including the Union of Ukrainian Fascists.[1][2] The union, known as OUN-B, had been engaged in various atrocities, including murder of civilians, most of whom were ethnic Poles. This was the result of the organization’s extreme Polonophobia, but the victims also included other minorities such as the Jews and Romani people.[3][4] The term “Banderites” was used by the Bandera followers themselves, by others during the Holocaust, and during the massacres of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia by OUN-UPA from 1943–1944. These massacres resulted in the deaths of 80,000-100,000 Poles and 10,000-15,000 Ukrainians.[5]

And here dear readers is how a peremoha slowly turns into zrada…

What do you Want From Biden?

Dear readers, what a text I have discovered, it almost confirms the message of one of the videos I uploaded to my YouTube channel recently, (check it out if you have a command of Russian and Ukrainian)…

A Ukrainian [person]: My relative lives in the Urals, Russia. And he asks: “What do you want from America and Biden?! I thought a bit and replied…

  1. I want American military bases on Russian borders. In Lugansk, in Donetsk, in Sevastopol, and in Simferopol. That the US 6th fleet may feel at home.
  2. That the strategic aviation may fly, bombers, fighters, tankers… And that the AWACS may fly over and shit on the heads of enemies.
  3. That US nuclear weapons and the boot of the NATO soldier, to the maximum level, so that Putin may shit himself from the anxiety.
  4. That our military may learn from their military, for a fully fledged alliance and bubble gum. You do not have to fight for us, we can fight already. For us, with us does not matter. We need to become frightening so that one would piss himself just from seeing us.
  5. We need Murican judiciary because our judiciary is comatose.
  6. Also, customs and fiscal policy should be transplanted because ours is comatose.
  7. May American capital enter and with their capitalists, managers, technicians. I have worked with Westerners and I have worked with compatriots. I will say, the Americans, the British, the Canadians are welcome. And our pseudo-proletarian dung should learn from them. Blablala…

I hope dear readers, that you liked this little translation. And would you like to defend Ukraine?

If Your Facebook Profile gets Tagged by Fact-checkers, Your Ass Will be Shadow-blocked

Facebook pretty much says that if you share too much alternative information, Facebook is not a friendly platform…

Starting today, we will reduce the distribution of all posts in News Feed from an individual’s Facebook account if they repeatedly share content that has been rated by one of our fact-checking partners. We already reduce a single post’s reach in News Feed if it has been debunked.

Your ass, dear Facebook user is now at the mercy of Facebook fact-checkers, and you might be of the impression that those are impartial people that have the common good in mind.

And do not be mistaken, I believe there are genuine purveyors of misinformation but do not ever believe that the fact-checkers always have good intentions. There will always be bias towards the official line, and that is totalitarian. Read this blog, and you will be informed.

I suggest you only post the mainstream media because despite them being the biggest purveyors of misinformation, they will likely never be censored. But I have a better suggestion, stop using a platform that is likely to censor you over things that should not be censored.

Netflix Zrada

For the meaning of Zrada, check out the Glossary…

Netflix featured the Russian crime drama Brat 2 on its site, and they have translated a scene where one of the characters asks two Ukrainians if they are banderovites, that is followers of the radical nationalist leader, Stepan Bandera, this way:

It is difficult not to claim that Bandera wasn’t collaborating with the Nazis. However, some in Ukraine are ashamed of this fact apparently. A parliamentarian from the ruling party, Dmytro Hrudin, said that Netflix had no right to do this. He promised they initiate a writing campaign. They can of course do that, but the international public understands why Bandera is hated, and does not even know who Bandera is…

I really wonder how the entire dialogue is translated. I might watch it later tonight…
