The Czech Republic Sends Tens of Millions (CZK) to Ukrainian NGOs

This article is several months old, and that’s when I began doing the translation, and then I forgot. The information, however still remains fresh…

Novinky.cz reports:

The Czech government sent 35 million CZK (1,300,000 USD) to Ukrainian NGOs over the last two years. The money is intended to help the country rebuild and aid her democratic transformation.

The money provided by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs was intended for the fight against corruption, or for the defense of human rights in the Eastern regions, outside the control of Ukraine and in Crimea. Around 16 million CZK (700,000 USD), the embassy distributed as part of grant challenges to 19 local non-governmental projects.

“The support for these projects has not only brought concrete outcomes but has helped promote the Czech Republic not just in Ukraine but among other donors.” -says the reports of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which the ministers will receive. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Czech Republic has hereby joined the democratic countries that participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine. For example, Germany, the United States, Canada and Japan.

Support for education

More than a million CZK (44 thousand USD), the Czech Republic has relegated for legal defense of Ukrainian citizens in the Donbass. The Czech Republic gave 500,000 CZK (22 thousand USD) for the creation of a map of human rights abuses in Crimea. The Center for Economic Strategy received 1.3 million CZK (57 thousand USD) for a project called Critical thinking against populism.

Another 19 million CZK (800,000 USD) was offered to Ukraine by the Czech Agency for Development. They were mostly directed towards the reform of education, including the renovation of secondary and tertiary education facilities. Especially those that had to leave the area which is not under the control of Ukraine due to military conflict.

For half of this sum, a reconstruction of buildings and equipment for student dormitories was paid. The aid was received by the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering in Kramatorsk and the National University of Taras Shevchenko in Starobilsk. The rest of the funds went to the Lvov State University of the Ministry of Interior.

“The Czech Republic affirms its foreign policy commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by supporting institutions and human rights of people dislocated by the annexation of Crimea and the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.” -says the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the report “the Czech Republic used its own experience of transformation.”

Czech Republic’s aid, which began already in 2014, does not end here.  Last year in June, the government approved the continuation of development and transformation activities in that country. In the memorandum, the government expects 20 million CZK (900,000 USD) this year and in the next two years.

Macron Says he Prefers Legal Migrants From Africa Over Illegals From Ukraine

Deutsche Welle Ukrainian with a reference to an interview Macron gave recently to the French Valeurs Actuelles…

Commenting on the topic of migration, Macron said that he “gives preference to legal migrants from Guinea and the Ivory Cost over illegal bands from Bulgaria and Ukraine.”

Everyone loves the legal immigrant, don’t we? The article further says that some suspect Macron is trying to shore up some right wing support to take away from his rival Marine Le Pen in the next presidential election.

Greek Orthodox Hierarchs Summon a Pan-Orthodox Council to Discuss the Ukrainian Issue

The Union of Orthodox Journalists reports…

The hierarchs of the Greek Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus and Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythira and Antikythera, wrote a joint letter urging all Primates of the Local Orthodox Churches to convene a Pan-Orthodox Council on the “Ukrainian issue”. This was reported by Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus to the Greek online publication ΒΗΜΑ ΟΡΘΟΔΟΞΙΑΣ.

All Local Churches will receive a letter in the coming days, since the “Ukrainian issue” shook the foundations of the Orthodox Church throughout the world. According to ΒΗΜΑ ΟΡΘΟΔΟΞΙΑΣ, hierarchs are calling to convene the Pan-Orthodox Council even without the participation of Patriarch of Bartholomew of Constantinople.

The Metropolitan of Piraeus noted that the unprecedented legalization of schismatics in Ukraine is a crime.

“It is completely unacceptable to assert that the unity of the Church is achieved through ‘reinstatement’ and admission of unrepentant apostates, anathematized and not ordained, secret conspirators and schismatic persons,” His Eminence Seraphim emphasized and reminded that only the Pan-Orthodox Council can have the power to grant autocephaly.

The logical outcome of Poroshenko’s Church diplomacy…

The Czech President, Miloš Zeman Acknowledges Russian Sovereignty Over Crimea

The Czech President is a master troll. From Ukrayins’ka Pravda

The President of Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman invited the representatives of a small Crimean Tatar organization, loyal to the Kremlin, which considers Crimea to be part of Russia. to an official audience in the Prague Castle.

This has been reported by Evropeys’ka Pravda with a reference to Deník N.

The representative of the marginal (subjective opinion of the Ukrayinska Pravda, the appeal of this organisation could not be independently verified) organisation “K’yrym birligi”, Tamila Nimetullaeva has attended the official audience in the Presidential Palace dedicated to 101 anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia, held on 28 October.

This organisation, as the publication admits, plays an important role for the propagandist media of the Russian Federation. They are declaring their support for Moscow as a counterweight to the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar Peoples. (perhaps it is the Mejlis that is the irrelevant party here)

At the same time, the organisation is not recognized by the EU.

“The EU and its leaders have never met with these pseudo-representatives of the Crimean Tatars, and never had relations with them. For the EU, the legal representatives [of the Crimean Tatars] is the Mejlis and other Crimean organisations that function or are represented in Ukraine.” -said the former speaker of the EU representation David Stulík.

(The Mejlis was arbitrarily appointed the representative of the Crimean Tatar peoples in 2014 following Russian takeover of Crimea. The wishes of Kiev or Brussels may not reflect the reality of things on the ground.)

The organisations immediately exploited its presence at the official audience of the Czech President.

“The President of Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman is s European politician, who recognized Crimea as a part of Russia. The Czech Republic is a friend to our country. K’yrym birligi is glad that our activity has been recognized internationally. We are thankful for this annual invitation to the Birthday of the Czech Republic.” -is being said in a post on the organization’s Facebook page. It is accompanied by photographs, including one featuring Nimetullaeva with the Czech Prime Minister, Andrej Babiš.

The President’s office was not able to explain, even after numerous demands, why this organisation was invited to the festivities.

Presidents press secretary, Jiří Ovčáček did not deny the president considers Crimea to be a part of Russia. “The people hold a variety of views. I have lived through the eighties when we were forced to assume only one view. I don’t want to repeat those times.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tomáš Petříček has come out against the invitation of pro-Kremlin activists. “I personally would not have invited such persons to an event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.” He said that audiences with the president are not being consulted with the Foreign Ministry.

The publication also found out that the request for audience with the Czech President was facilitated for the pro-Kremlin organisations through Carpatho-Rusyn activists.

We remind the readers that the Czech President, Miloš Zeman, received an audience of 7 people at the Prague Castle, who represent the Carpatho-Rusyns that demand an autonomy within Ukraine.

It triggered many. Here is Ayder Muzhdabayev. Ayder is a Russian journalist that moved to Ukraine, and now he is more Ukrainian than many Ukrainians.

The President of Czech Republic, a country for whose freedom, Mustafa Jemilev went to a Russian jail, acknowledged “Russian sovereignty over Crimea”. May you die mother fucker. You monster. Although, I have no questions for the old prostitute bought by Putin. The Czechs should be ashamed. You have fucked the Prague Spring and your dignity having elected this piece of shit. May the Russians again occupy you, and may no one support you this time. May Facebook block me again for this post. This is the lowest moral point and I don’t give a fuck.

Elena Lukash: Zelensky’s Party and The Killers of The People of Odessa are One Blood

Yesterday, the Ukrainian parliament refused to set up a committee to investigate the mass killing in Odessa on 2 May 2014. From Ukraina.ru

The former Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Elena Lukash thinks the refusal of the parliamentarians from the “Servant of the People” party to set up a committee to investigate the Odessa tragedy amounts to a political cover up of a mass execution.

On 2 May 2014, 42 people were burned alive in the House of the Trade Unions in Odessa.

The guilty in this execution have not yet been punished.

On the anniversary of the tragedy, Zelensky did not find words of pity.

Today, the parliamentary majority was afraid to create a committee to investigate this issue.

I consider this a political complicity, a political cover up of the guilty in mass execution of the people. They are one blood. That’s all from me.
