Mural in Toledo, Ohio was destroyed by lightning.

In a Russian language article by Andreas Umland I received in mail today, the latter tries to make the argument that the National Interest columnist, Ted Galen Carpenter is somehow wrong and under the influence of Russian propaganda when he says that Ukraine is a purveyor of radical nationalism. He brings forth the lame argument about electoral success of nationalist parties in Ukraine.
I have already debunked this argument on this blog. The issue boils down to Ukraine’s geography. Ukraine is the largest country in Europe, with a population around 30 million and many diverse regions. Only large oligarch funded projects score in such an environment. But there are outright radical nationalists in big oligarchical project too, and they are also embedded among the siloviks. They may not even be popular among the general population but they influence the cultural policy and have military units and guns. Radical nationalism, neonazism feels at home in Ukraine. And if the West does not keep an eye on Ukraine, sooner or later neonazis will bite back from Ukraine. Many researchers in the far right note the connection between neonazis in the West and their counterparts in Ukraine. Ukraine provides a safe haven for propaganda, merchandise sale and military training for whoever is willing to swear loyalty to Ukraine.
Read my Fashiks category for news on Nazis in Ukraine.

Legalize it already
As you can see, the Azov coast is a great growing area. Look at the size of these things, and it is only the beginning of the summer.
I rest my case…

Ukrainian blogosphere did an extensive deconstruction of the contents. I am working so I am a bit tired to do that. The brochure is called “In case of extreme situations or war.”
Daily Mail to Myrotvorets!

They have, probably unwittingly, become paragons of objectivity.
LMAO, who is this dork?
This creature was filmed at a pro-Navalny protest in Geneva, at the occasion of Putin’s visit. He says he suffered 8 hours of pain to get it.

There is a class of internet personalities (vloggers and bloggers) in Russia that in Russian are called охранители (ochraniteli, lit. “defenders”). They mostly put out patriotic and pro state content. I am a vatnik and I often watch this kind of content…
And for a while, this group of YouTube channels have put out content disparaging Elon Musk, belittling his achievements, and similar. When few channels and blogs do this in unison, it appears like an organised campaign. Entities with money these days do not shed resources on information campaigns because public opinion is everything. Morale must be maintained…
But if Elon Musk is doing it wrong, why then is Roskosmos copying his idea of partially reusable rockets to stay competitive with Musk’s Space X? Don’t get me wrong, I am totally for the proliferation of space technology, and believe that Roskosmos is on the right track with its decoupling from reliance on Kazakhstan’s Baykonur by building the Kosmodrom Vostochny, and now the development of reusable rockets. All power to them…

LMAO, they are ahead of the time…

There is scandal in Lisbon. It became known that the city hall CML, where we are announcing our protests is forwarding all personal information about the organisers of the protests in support of Navalny to the Russian Embassy and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We discovered this by accident.
In January, while there was a lockdown, me and two other organisers have announced our protest for the 23, in front of the Russian Embassy via email. We have, as always included our personal information, number of the ID, address, telephone number.
We have first received the usual answer, and then in the spirit of the Covid era an answer from the Portuguese Ministry of Health, where, alongside their recommendations there was also a PDF attached with that personal information that we have provided! That is, they are sharing our personal information.
But that would be OK, nothing surprising, however, from the conversation it is apparent that the letter with the PDF was also forwarded to the Russian Embassy in Portugal and the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The city hall has issued an official apology, having pointed out that this is a common practice surrounding protests that take place near embassies. I hope they were doing this not being aware that they are putting people in danger, but I am not sure they have stopped this practice. We will have to solve it though courts.
LMAO! They are trying to be public figures and don’t think anyone will find their details? Here are some photos from from Pavel Elizarov’s profile, LMAO!

Why does it not surprise me that a former minister that supported Belomaidan is a pervert?

The above sharade was staged by Pavel Latushko.
Pavel Latushko is a former minister of culture, former theatre director, and now he is dwelling in Poland in exile. According to the recent interview with Roman Protasevych, he lives in a 3000 euro apartment.
