Revisited…

I watched the above video by Münecat and she says some studies say UBI was used by young mothers to spend more time with the kids. And it made me think of a post I made recently. In the post I have pointed out that women often put their career ahead of motherhood. Women don’t juggle the two very well. But the question, would UBI provide them with extra cash for child care, or incentivize the women to have children?

Speaking of UBI, it all comes to certain ways of thinking we have about production and work. And it reminds me of a post that I did recently, which dealt with a similar issue but concerning currency. We appear to be stuck in rigid ways of thinking informed by a paradigm that might not really be applicable in the currently rapidly changing world. The UBI might be inevitable as much of the jobs will be lost to AI.

But will not giving everybody cash just cause services and goods to raise in price as the vendors will know everyone has cash on their hands. But then again, increased competition would drive the prices down. Does a UBI have to be inflationary? Not necessarily in my opinion…

But this is 2024, and women in some places out earn the men. These women have jobs and don’t need no man. I have nothing against providing for a woman. This is the essence of what is known in the depths of the internet as the red pill. The red pill is not a cure. The red pill, like in the movie Matrix will show how deep the rabbit hole goes. The realisation that the reality you are presented, the reality that you are cajoled into by right-wing tossers is not the actual reality that has long been perverted by left-wing swine.

On a more light level this disconnect can be seen in the simple notion that men ought to pay on dates, while we celebrate strong and independent women that need no man. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind paying for a dinner date but for the last 6 years, the girls I invited for a dinner were girls I had sex with first. So how do you balance the two prospects?
