So, my recent post about Boris Nemtsov earned me a 30 day Zucc on Facebook, and I once again deactivated my profile because of this injustice…
I lasted like 5 days on Facebook this time.

The municipality of Prague wants to rename the square on which stands the Russian embassy in honour of Boris Nemtsov…
The Russians will laugh at this stupidity, and Prague will spend money on absolute nonsense. That is all that will happen. Ordinary Czechs don’t give a fuck about Boris Nemtsov, and the latter has never done anything for the Czech Republic.
But little did I realize how unoriginal the people in Prague that came up with this cringy initiative are. There already is a Boris Nemtsov Plaza in Washington D.C., named so in 2017. In 2018, Vilnius and Kiev were added to the list of proud cities featuring Russian Embassy addresses on Boris Nemtsov Square.
I wonder what else is bullshit in that textbook?
A Ukrainian textbook of World history for the tenth grade featured a doctored historical photo: “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper” that included the actor, Keanu Reeves.

David Slack is TV writer:

I deactivated my Facebook profile last month, my reasons were that I received a 30 day ban for an eight month old post that nobody was seeing. I took it as a clear sign of persecution of my online persona, and refused to use this website.
A number of people I know have deleted their profiles for psychological reasons. Social media is not for everyone. But more recently I came upon another group of people quitting Facebook. American liberals are not happy because the website is not persecuting the right-wingers enough. Their granddaddy, George Soros recently complained Facebook is in cahoots with the Trump campaign. Soros also added that the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg ought to leave the board of the company.
I am amazed, Facebook censored the right-wingers so much, only to be stabbed in the back by the liberals. The following screenshots come from this thread:

And now for some cartoons:

The Telegram is an increasingly popular messaging service created by the Durov brothers, it is widely used by many public figures in Ukraine. From Ukraina.ru
The member of parliament from the “Servant of the People” [party], Oleksandr Dubinsky said that the office of the president, Volodymyr Zelensky is looking at closing the access to Telegram. Dubinsky wrote this on his Telegram on 3 February.
Just 30 minutes ago, I have read about the plans of the office of the president to discredit Telegram and (what a novelty) to accuse all Telegram users of working for the Kremlin… Fairytale fools. Now they must ban Telegram, only to make its audience grown ever larger.
In the West, there exists a myth of a vast Russian disinformation machine. However, in reality, the Western reader is constantly bombarded with stories that disparage Russia…
Few months ago, Russia returned the ships it seized from Ukraine in 2018. Immediately after, the Ukrainian media reported toilets were stolen from the ships. I was surprised these washtubs even had toilets but a recent video that surfaced seems to suggest they did. And the toilets are still there.
What happened was, one of the toilets had an issue with flushing. But somehow the Ukrainian media interpreted it as “the Russians stole the toilets.” Western media seem to have uncritically taken them on their word.

Member of Parliament, Evhen Brahar of the Servant of the People party, tells an old lady, who called into a TV talkshow and complained that her 2000,- HRN does not pay for gas to sell her dog and pay for gas…

Apparently, “Slava Ukrayini” all you need as an investor to feel at home in Ukraine. But little do you realise that this slogan comes with the “Roman salute”…
The entirety of the Ukrainian Breakfast can be watched here.
However, the slogan Honcharuk taught the audience in Davos has some rather dark history. I have covered the issue of this popular Ukrainian slogan before, so I will quote myself:
The slogan appeared in the 1930’s and was modelled on the German slogan: “Heil Hitler! Sieg Heil!” that is: “Hail Hitler! Hail Victory!”. In 1939, OUN made it official at a conference in Rome. It should be noted that the Italians, and the Croatians had similar slogans. The OUN were seeing themselves as a part of the fascist international. They were literally fascist and proud of it.
So let me get this straight, is Honcharuk taking a piss?
