What I see is mostly women protesting in Germany demanding Germany send its tanks to Ukraine so the unfortunate draftees can die easier. Women should just the fuck up and leave politics and war to men. Airlines SAS and Norwegian Air, railway group SJ, hotel chain Strawberry, retailer Elkjop, shipping group Fjord Line and the Norwegian Football Association were among those announcing in recent days that they would stop selling Mondelez products.

Although some Western companies sold their Russian assets after Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine last year, others such as Mondelez have stayed despite pushback from employees in other countries. Russia says the invasion is a “special operation”.

Nordic companies said their decision stop selling Mondelez products was based on an announcement this year by Ukraine’s National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption to blacklist the snack maker and other groups.

So, some Ukrainian agency dictates to Norwegian retailers what they should and shouldn’t sell in Russia, OK…

PS: I have covered the issue of sanctions against wealthy Russian nationals before. But in that case it was legacy oligarchs that moved their assets to the United Kingdom, only to be robbed.

Bloke Enters a Female Poker Competition and Wins

I didn’t even know there are special female competitions in Poker. Is this the same situation as with chess? None of the grandmasters are ever women. Why do women need special women only competition in a card game that does not require any physical skill? Are they more daft?

I thought women and men are equally capable and intelligent, at least the equality discourse tells us so.

David Hughes won a $250 buy-in No-limit Hold’Em poker tournament in Hollywood, Fla. over the weekend. Normally, that would not be noteworthy, except for the fact that it was a ladies event.

Hughes entered the event at the Seminole Hard Hotel and Casino and won the top prize of $5,555, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Hughes beat out the rest of the entrants, all women, and drew the ire of other players in the process.

Abby Merk, who finished third in the event, tweeted out her frustration with the fact that Hughes won a tournament that was supposed to be exclusively for women.
