Russia’s favorite in the US president elections was the acting head of state, Joe Biden, however, as he quit his campaign, Russia will support the Democrat candidate, Kamala Harris. This was said by the Russian President, Vladimir Putin during the Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

According to Putin, Harris has a “catchy laugh”, which means “everything is good” with her. If that is so, she might not enact sanctions against Russia, if she is elected.

Guys, you might have heard about the rapid development of Poland in recent years. This was all thanks to massive transfers of funds by the EU. Poland is the biggest recipient of EU money of all member countries. Some say, the EU created a display case out of Poland to act as a magnet for the people of Belarus and Ukraine. So Poland is completely beholden to the EU, opposition to Brussels is almost unheard of in that country (it is even greater in Czechia).
But now, the EU has gone bonkers. The Green Deal is threatening to close coal power plants, and has introduced modern day indulgences, so called carbon credits. This a tax on carbon dioxide generating industries, which the latter have to pay for being so dirty. And Poland is very dirty, Poland does not have any legacy nuclear power plants, their Commie government did not bother to build any. Poland burns coal! Of course Poland would not import cheap gas from Russia, let alone let the Russians build nuclear power plants. They are planning future nuclear built by Americans in 2030s. But by then, electricity will be very expensive.
Modern economy runs on electricity, all this manufacturing, computers, AI need electricity, lots of it, and it ought to be cheap, or your products and services will not be competitive. So I think Poland is kinda cooked…
The Kursk offensive that was supposed to humiliate Vladimir Putin has like not moved for several days. Russia is in no hurry to throw the Ukrainians out of Kursk. Instead what they are doing is they are using drones to locate Ukrainian gear and then destroy it with the help of Iskander, Tornado or TOS. Ukraine has lost dozens of vehicles in Kursk and all the way in Sumy region of Ukraine. The intention was to draw Russian troops from the Donbas front, and thus improving the situation there.
On the Donbas front, the Russians are advancing towards Pokrovsk. Pokrovsk is on the crossroads and is essential for Ukrainian logistics in the Donbas. Once they take hold of the town, it is over for Ukraine in the Donetsk region. Zelensky said they will defend Pokrovsk teeth and nail, they will turn it into another Bakhmut or Avdeevka. But the problem is Ukraine sent its best troops to Kursk. The latter can’t leave Kursk because it would not look good in the papers, NAFO dogs would have nothing to cheer on.
Absolute shitshow under the direction of clown, Zelensky. On top of this, Russia has been targeting the electrical grid of Ukraine. Modern civilization is absolutely dependent on the electrical current. Without it, food rots in the fridges. Speaking of food, there isn’t enough workforce to stack the shelves in the shops. Everybody has fled or is hiding from recruiters. Ironically, this reduction of available hands has resulted in increase of wages. Something tells me it is soon going to be over for Ukraine but since Russia takes things slow, the agony of Ukraine will last until 2026.
Sooner or later, some government will roll this out as a populist measure. If the bullish predictions about AI are true, various white collar jobs like accounting, coding, writing, illustration will be relegated to the AI thus making a lot of people redundant and companies more productive. This will prompt the governments to give freebies to the populace, pacify the plebs with bread and games. Or rather give the rabble money to keep it fed and entertained.
There are many thoughts on this. Some people think that having a UBI would demotivate the people from finding a job. Now, as a someone that has several streams of passive income, I will tell you, I still prefer having a job because well, I have to get ready to get out, I have to shower, I have to shave, I am among people, I can even get pussy. Quite frankly, I make enough money to never leave my house. I could have food delivered to my doorstep, and just play video games all day. Although, the job gives me diversification of my income. And quite frankly, I dread the next year when my contract ends and I will have to find myself something new.
But here is something that might arise in near future. There will not be any jobs for people. So while it would be great to have a job, there might not be many to go by. Now, I believe that some people will start their own business, they might learn creative skills. Handmade artistic creations even aided by 3D printing have the potential to reintroduce the beautiful into the world, something that was lost with 20th century functionalism, the disappearance of the ornamental, simplicity and mass production replacing the applied arts. But I believe many will just become useless, not artistically gifted and without business acumen.
But keeping the people content with UBI does not sit well with me. I view this as dependence on the state, and any dependence on the state reminds me of this scene from Mad Max: Fury Road:
You just do not want to be dependent on the state that will give you fucking fiat. What is good at receiving fiat? I fear vendors will make sure you part with your fiat UBI as quickly as possible. And in this instance, I regret that people tend to think of financial handouts when speaking about UBI. Why can’t the plebs be getting stocks of companies, ETFs, gold bars, BTC, bonds or maybe all of the above for a diversified portfolio? Stocks can provide one with cash dividends, which can serve as a passive income. Granted, you need quite a portfolio for it to be worth it. All these AI companies that put people out of jobs could turn those people into stakeholders.

UBI will come but it will sadly make the people dependent on the state for handouts. You will have a UBI dependent class of basic consoomers, and anyone breaking beyond this line will be the winner unless the government taxes his ass into oblivion.

Basically, Russia should have done this a long time ago. Although, the question is how much Russia is actually traditional and how much is it a good place to live? Now, if you want your kids to grow up and be educated in an environment, where they would not have LGBT, gender theory and similar shit shoved down their anals in school, Russia is probably the place but otherwise it really depends on your lifestyle.
I don’t think Russia is particularly opposed to digitalization or vaccination. So if you are against these agendas, this might not be for you. Although, I don’t think Russia will make you eat bugs. Actually, if you are a farmer, a food producer, Russia might be a place for you. Russia has plenty of land and fertile soil. Ever heard of the Chernozem? It is a belt of fertile soil stretching from Ukraine to the steppes of Central Asia.
Russia is now in the process of conquering the Chernozem area of Ukraine and that place will be depopulated, lands will be up for grabs. But moving to Russia will completely close any roads to the West. So basically, anyone that takes this opportunity must be prepared to take his entire life to Russia. Transferring money to Russia from the West currently is rather hard. You could use crypto. Soon there will probably be a BRICS payment system that could make things easier.
But the West will probably sanction this because doing business with Russia is off limits. At least Western citizens will be barred from participating in anything like this. But if you are ready to abandon the West, there is a whole new out there. After all, you are leaving the culturally decrepit West then why feed it economically?
Russia also has a low tax rate, a flat tax too but from what I have heard, they are much into digital payments and government control. More than Czechia actually. Basically the place has its pros and cons, and one should do a thorough research before moving there. But in my opinion, we will see colonies of Westerners in Russia in the future.
