UBI, My Thoughts

I think UBI is inevitable…

Sooner or later, some government will roll this out as a populist measure. If the bullish predictions about AI are true, various white collar jobs like accounting, coding, writing, illustration will be relegated to the AI thus making a lot of people redundant and companies more productive. This will prompt the governments to give freebies to the populace, pacify the plebs with bread and games. Or rather give the rabble money to keep it fed and entertained.

There are many thoughts on this. Some people think that having a UBI would demotivate the people from finding a job. Now, as a someone that has several streams of passive income, I will tell you, I still prefer having a job because well, I have to get ready to get out, I have to shower, I have to shave, I am among people, I can even get pussy. Quite frankly, I make enough money to never leave my house. I could have food delivered to my doorstep, and just play video games all day. Although, the job gives me diversification of my income. And quite frankly, I dread the next year when my contract ends and I will have to find myself something new.

But here is something that might arise in near future. There will not be any jobs for people. So while it would be great to have a job, there might not be many to go by. Now, I believe that some people will start their own business, they might learn creative skills. Handmade artistic creations even aided by 3D printing have the potential to reintroduce the beautiful into the world, something that was lost with 20th century functionalism, the disappearance of the ornamental, simplicity and mass production replacing the applied arts. But I believe many will just become useless, not artistically gifted and without business acumen.

But keeping the people content with UBI does not sit well with me. I view this as dependence on the state, and any dependence on the state reminds me of this scene from Mad Max: Fury Road:

You just do not want to be dependent on the state that will give you fucking fiat. What is good at receiving fiat? I fear vendors will make sure you part with your fiat UBI as quickly as possible. And in this instance, I regret that people tend to think of financial handouts when speaking about UBI. Why can’t the plebs be getting stocks of companies, ETFs, gold bars, BTC, bonds or maybe all of the above for a diversified portfolio? Stocks can provide one with cash dividends, which can serve as a passive income. Granted, you need quite a portfolio for it to be worth it. All these AI companies that put people out of jobs could turn those people into stakeholders.

If everyone is a billionaire, a billion is worth nothing…

UBI will come but it will sadly make the people dependent on the state for handouts. You will have a UBI dependent class of basic consoomers, and anyone breaking beyond this line will be the winner unless the government taxes his ass into oblivion.

So, Russia is working on a new visa regime for people, who want to escape the West and live in an LGBT free society…

Basically, Russia should have done this a long time ago. Although, the question is how much Russia is actually traditional and how much is it a good place to live? Now, if you want your kids to grow up and be educated in an environment, where they would not have LGBT, gender theory and similar shit shoved down their anals in school, Russia is probably the place but otherwise it really depends on your lifestyle.

I don’t think Russia is particularly opposed to digitalization or vaccination. So if you are against these agendas, this might not be for you. Although, I don’t think Russia will make you eat bugs. Actually, if you are a farmer, a food producer, Russia might be a place for you. Russia has plenty of land and fertile soil. Ever heard of the Chernozem? It is a belt of fertile soil stretching from Ukraine to the steppes of Central Asia.

Russia is now in the process of conquering the Chernozem area of Ukraine and that place will be depopulated, lands will be up for grabs. But moving to Russia will completely close any roads to the West. So basically, anyone that takes this opportunity must be prepared to take his entire life to Russia. Transferring money to Russia from the West currently is rather hard. You could use crypto. Soon there will probably be a BRICS payment system that could make things easier.

But the West will probably sanction this because doing business with Russia is off limits. At least Western citizens will be barred from participating in anything like this. But if you are ready to abandon the West, there is a whole new out there. After all, you are leaving the culturally decrepit West then why feed it economically?

Russia also has a low tax rate, a flat tax too but from what I have heard, they are much into digital payments and government control. More than Czechia actually. Basically the place has its pros and cons, and one should do a thorough research before moving there. But in my opinion, we will see colonies of Westerners in Russia in the future.

The other day I went to the shops to buy me some food for breakfast and paid almost 3 dollars USD for a loaf of bread, a brick of butter cost me more than 3 dollars. Wanna know why food is all of a sudden so expensive? Sanctions against Russia and attack on the Nord Stream my friend plays a large part. Everything depends on energy, you need to heat the ovens to bake the bread, oy vey! Do you know gas now costs three times as much as it did before 2022? I luckily have the incomes to maintain gas in my home but my friends are not so lucky. They burn wood now!

Personally, I had to raise prices too. Utility bills are uncompromising. The president of Czechia tried to justify the Ukrainian attack on the Nord Stream. Let me remind you that Czechia was supposed to benefit from Nord Stream. The Czech president is a fucking moron.

What do they plan with the cows? I thought large herbivores are actually good for nature? They definitely taste good when grass fed and allowed to roam the pastures.

Against Beach Going

Beach going was not always a thing. Beach tourism developed gradually in modernity and really became what it is today in the twentieth century…

Beaches are places of nature that the human has occupied because of his vanity. Human impact on beaches has only been detrimental. Beaches are actually the breeding ground for turtles, seals, crabs, birds… human presence disrupts this, and yet the beach is something humans can do without. There is a lot of habitat loss going on in the World due to human activity such as urban growth and agriculture.

I don’t know if I have made it known but I am a huge tree hugger, and getting more bigoted with age. I am into this thing called Rewilding, that is the recreation of natural habitats, and the reintroduction of species into it. It is my contention that humans have been taking from nature for the last twelve thousand years and the time has come to give something back. I am personally planting a personal forest around my house. This shall serve as habitat for the birds and prevent erosion of the soil. It will also provide me with fire wood from the felled trees.

Humans don’t belong to the beach, the beaches belong to the seals…

The Sea Lion is a confident animal that lives in large packs but the Mediterranean Monk Seal is a more timid animal, and would not occupy a beach this brazenly. It needs our help, like fucking off the beach and swimming in a man made pool.

The sea is not a hospitable place and the humans do not belong there. My neighbor was in Turkey recently and got bit by a fish when swimming in the sea. People step on urchins. Medusa infestation is common, my relative was in Thailand on holiday and he said the beach was all closed because of it. This is the sea telling the humans to BTFO!

Humans should generally BTFO from nature altogether. Forest is not ours, mountain is not hours, river is not ours, the sea is not ours. I can accept river and sea transport of goods, although there are alternatives sometimes. I can accept fishing, I like fish. Release the bears and the wolves and keep out of the woods like in the days of old. Demarcate a world of men, and the preserve of nature.

He has however complied with sanctions against Russian media, I cannot view a lot of the content here in the EU on Telegram.
