Transcarpathia is the former Czechoslovak province of Podkarpatská Rus (RUS). It is the Western most region of Ukraine. Václav Havel has been all his life used to posing uncomfortable questions. One of them was the thought about where Europe begins and where it ends. Connected to this thought is the question where does Russia begin and where does it end? Instead of gradually approaching democratic and European norms, Russia has taken the opposite route and has cause a bloodshed on the Eastern flank of Europe that threatens the results of a 75 years of peace. European values and the Russian world have been pitted against each other and are in an uncompromising controversy. The future of the whole continent, not just the independence of Ukraine hinges on the outcome of this conflict.

I have discussed this anxiety over the outcome of the Ukrainian conflict here before. Václav Havel was an alcoholic cretin that was voted into office by a communist parliament to cover for the latter’s transfer of power. Velvet Revolution was completely under the direction of the STB. After the transfer of power, Václav Havel supported America in every nastiness the latter did. He called the bombing of Serbia “humanitarian”, and criticized Russia for not going along with it.
Note the vague and absolutely empty concepts such as “European values” and “Russian World”. What the fuck do they mean? Aren’t these just propaganda slogans, ideology brands, designed to appeal to certain segments of the population in the EU and Russia?

The Russian Orthodox Church and its various sister Churches are seen as an asset in Putin’s propaganda machine. By extension there might also be elements in the various national Churches that harbor sympathies for Russia, and its conservative agenda. And the CIA sees it as imperative to infiltrate Orthodoxy and find compliant bishops, who would reduce this influence of Moscow. In some places, most notably in Ukraine and Czechia, parishes and clergy are persecuted by the local government.
We often hear how the Russian Orthodox Church is an arm of the Russian state. But as the article at The American Conservative shows, the Ecumenical Patriarch in Istanbul is deeply in cahoots with CIA and the US. It is the globalist’s patriarch, and this relationship is a boost to the secular ambitions of the latter. The Ecumenical Patriarch engages in dialogue with the Roman Pope, and styles himself as the arbiter of disputes among the Orthodox Churches. Don’t be surprised if the Roman Catholic Church and the Ecumenical Patriarch don’t form a single Church in the future.
There is a tug of war between governments in Eastern Europe and everything associated with Russia. The governments often encourage the formation of local Churches and call in the Ecumenical Patriarch to recognize them. Such happened in Ukraine, where schism created Mickey Mouse Churches in the early nineties. After the Maidan, Poroshenko managed to haggle out a Tomos of autocephaly from the Ecumenical Patriarch for the Orthodox Church in Ukraine, formed of unrecognized schismatics from several Ukrainian Churches.
The Orthodox Church in Ukraine has limited international recognition. It was recognized by the Greeks. That is the Ecumenical Patriarch, the Church of Greece, the Church of Cyprus, and the Ancient Patriarchate of Alexandria, the latter, although based in Egypt has hierarchs hailing from Crete, which is a canonical territory of the Ecumenical Patriarch. At least they had recognition from the Papists and the Kyiv Pride. None of the Slavic Churches, the Georgian Church, the Romanian Church, or the Patriarchates of Antioch and Jerusalem bothered to recognize this clownery. The Ecumenical Patriarch would not resort to giving recognition to Ukrainian schismatics if he was not a puppet of CIA that wages war on Orthodoxy.
