Ukraine Will Become Boring

The Russians have said this operation will lead to the denazification of Ukraine. This will render my category fashiks obsolete. My interest in Ukraine began some 12 years ago out of a concern for the growth of radical nationalism and religious intolerance in that country. I have learned the Ukrainian language and understand it very well now. My speaking ability is a bit lacking.

Russia will now hunt down the fashiks, and will set Ukraine on a different course. I recall the astrologer, Pavel Globa saying that Ukraine will become more friendly to Russia by mid 2020s, that prophecy is happening. I shall continue posting on Ukraine but I fear the frequency will not be too high.

These are the problems:

  1. Moscow was saved from Mongol destruction, unlike Kiev, because of those deep woods. Moscow became the preserve of Russian culture, while Kiev embarked on a long journey of estrangement from Rus’.
  2. All of the buildings shown are built in the style known as Ecclesiastical Baroque, they all come from the seventeenth and eighteenth century when Kiev was under Russian rule.
  3. It is a common trope of the Svidomites to point out the antiquity of Kiev over Moscow but the old Kiev has little in common with the modern Ukrainian state.
