Guys, I have been trying to define for myself the essence of feminism, and I seem to be unable to do so…
There is this American author critical of feminism named Carrie Gress, and while I haven’t read her work yet, I have a second hand account of what she defines as the constitutive pillars of feminism. They would be, smashing the patriarchy, free love, and witchcraft/occultism.
So, what exactly is patriarchy and is it even relevant today? Patriarchy is the dominance of the father, the father is the head of the household, the wife submits to the husband, the husband assumes the duty of a provider and protector, and the woman is the homemaker. These duties of the sexes are defined in holy books and traditions of various cultures around the World. Although, in the book of Proverbs we see women hustling on their own, not just being at home.
It seems that from day one, feminism has been in opposition to this arrangement. One thing I agree with contemporary feminists is that what they call patriarchy boxes the sexes into rigid categories of masculinity and femininity. I agree in as much that today women can make their own bag, and provide for themselves and potential descendants quite well, without reliance on a male. In some large cities, women out-earn the men. Although I am skeptical of the future of what I call bitch jobs with the ascendancy of artificial intelligence, as things stand, big city boss babes don’t need no man.
I am very much about the freedom of choice. Modern times have disrupted relations between the sexes and plenty of women are bossing around until they remain single and childless. There are also some women that subscribe to child free lifestyle, some even remove association with men. On the other hand, there are older boss bitches that regret not becoming mothers. Almost as if motherhood is woman’s primordial calling. Some bitterly say the feminists have sold them a bag of goods with their career woman propaganda.
And here is a problem that I see. If patriarchy boxes you in a gender specific role, why not have a freedom to follow a path defined by patriarchy? The problem is feminism absolutely removes the freedom from women to be homemakers subservient to men. The feminists are always critical of this mode of existence. And this mode of existence is not without its dangers. However, some women seem to gravitate to this kind of lifestyle.
From the five girlfriends I had in my life only one volunteered to pay her way in restaurants. And she was from a wealthy family. The rest of them were your regular broke bitch type that dated me primarily for money. And if women are physically different from men, can they also be the psychologically different? I personally think women should be treated with equity. While globalization economically benefits the common man here in the West, it also inevitably disrupts his environment through mass immigration and outsourcing of jobs. The problem with globalization is that it has its winners and losers. The wealthier you are, the closer you live near centres of wealth distribution, the more you benefit from the globalized World. But the poorer and more remote you are the more you will be on the losing side.
And the question is, do the enlightened, urban, university educated classes have the right to pontificate over the wretched of this World? Somehow, the immigrants that cross the Mediterranean because their countries of origin are on the losing end of the neoliberal world order are protected because gods forbid we could be seen as racist but indigenous people of Europe that found themselves marginalized are just deplorables.

I came to the realization that the political forces I support, that come out against sending weapons and money to Ukraine, and would definitely oppose Ukraine in the EU, the forces deemed by the party of war as pro-Russian, do not have the political mandate to do politics in this country. And they will not have it after the election looking at the polls. And so the party of war that thinks it can defeat Putin through the hands of the Ukrainians is dominant.
My friends have been vehemently against sending weapons to Ukraine, and I was with them on this. But little did I realize that the Czech Republic has a fuck all in terms of military and sooner or later we will run out of material to send. I have seen several videos of Czech gear getting destroyed by Lancet drones. I have also seen Nazi symbols on Czech howitzers. And I did not an anticipate the level of embarrassment the government will suffer.
Same goes for money for Ukraine. This country does not have the money. If other countries seem more confident and richer, they should send money to Ukraine. I am an accelerationist and I like letting things play themselves out for better or worse. More of this shit will inevitably lead to the decline of Europe. And we come to the crazy idea to take Ukraine into the EU. Recently. the EU started ascension talks with Moldova, and Ukraine, and gave Georgia a candidate status for membership in the EU. This is an unprecedented development and I am left scratching my head as to how this will be done. All three countries have break away territories, and Ukraine is in the middle of a war with no clear idea where the border will be tomorrow.
I am mentioning this because there were serious issues with admitting Cyprus for this very reason and it was resolved through the UN. All three cases are very difficult, more difficult than the Cyprus model. And quite frankly, none of these countries have the economy of Cyprus. This would be EU breaking with all of its principles and the more it grows, the bigger the chance of collapse. So, we all have to welcome this folly. If they mean accepting Ukraine seriously, they are delusional, if this is just stupid virtue signaling it will backfire. And this applies to all the areas discussed above.
