Funny that Guenther is an Austrian. I have called the Ukrainian nationalism “Austrian voodoo”. Ukrainian nationalism is a result of a successful policy of the Austrian government to promote disunity among the Russians and neutralize the Russian threat.
Africa is a dark continent in that it is not interesting for the mainstream media. Nobody gives a fuck about what happens in Africa. But is Russia really trying to kick the French out of Africa for good?

The new Finnish government of the prime minister, Petteri Orpo published a new program intended to balance the Finnish economy in the time of crisis, the fall of industrial production, and the militarization of the country. NATO accession is an expensive pleasure that one needs to pay for.

Right with the news about Finland’s rapid accession, there was the information about the defens expenses being doubled in the upcoming year. Alongside receiving American armaments, the Finns have also agreed to release funds for the support of the administrative apparatus of NATO, to increase the military contingent two times, and also build a barrier on the border with Russia.
In the past, the Finnish government thought the Finnish economy would manage to cover the expenses without cuts to other budgetary expenses.
However, the fall of Finnish GDP has forced the new government to announce cuts to the social sphere. The Finnish government is looking at completely scrapping the living subsidy. And in the future, the conditions under which government assistance can be received will harden.
Meanwhile according to the University of Helsinki professor, Niko Määttä, because of the growth of budget expenses of the government of Sanna Marin, the government debt reached 146 billion euros. This deficit will be paid by several future governments of the country.

For many years number of Russians were bemoaning the fact their moneyed class was investing the money made in Russia into real estate and football clubs in the West.
The Western sanctions got one thing fundamentally wrong, they assumed the relationship the West has with Russia is not only essential but beneficial for the Russians, and the Russians cannot do without it. Nothing can be further from the truth, Russia develops in an opposition to the West, not as its resource appendage.
PS: I have covered the issue of sanctions against wealthy Russian nationals before. But in that case it was legacy oligarchs that moved their assets to the United Kingdom, only to be robbed.
Should Ukraine threaten any of these territories, Limited intervention of Russia to destroy the threat, like we have seen in 2008 in Georgia, is all Russia needs. Did Russia occupy Georgia in 2008? Did they roll into Tbilisi and hang Saakashvili on his tie? Russia went in, destroyed Georgian forces, took the Hummers, and got out. And while Ukraine may be a tougher nut to crack, contemporary Russian military is much more modernised than the force we have seen in 2008.
Limited this “special military operation” certainly is, Russia did not deploy its full might. Although, the conflict seems to escalate, the Ukrainians are not a finite resource, and will be destroyed eventually.
Russia has however set itself a goal of denazification, and for that I think some form of control of Ukraine will be necessary. You cannot have Western Ukraine that claims the rightful control and the right to ideologically mold everything to the Don river, and claim you have achieved denazification.
Russia should achieve this by 2026, or they will have this cancerous growth on the body of Russia for another 100 years…
