I have only seen one guy that had both the Ukrainian and the Palestinian flag in his bio on Twitter. He was some left wing activist that is like a priori anti-war and agression. The rest of you are simply racist against Arabs, and Muslims. It is that simple. The Ukrops are white, Christian, allow gay pride, wanna join the EU and NATO, and that’s why they are poor innocent victims of Russian aggression, whereas the Palestinians are dirty Arab Islamists that are also terrorists. And that’s why their plight does not matter. Be fucking honest!

Also, the Jews being mostly immigrants from Europe, who suffered so much in gas chambers are seen somehow as part of US. Lindsey motherfucker gets paid for it but arguably, Israel was created by the British, it is a settler nation like Rhodesia. Ukraine is also a Western ideological creation that is seen as worth defending.

I for instance don’t support Israel or Palestine, I am not a good person. Israel is a settler state that wants lebensraum, and is not worthy of respect. I am kind of sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinians purely out of pity but I cannot find it in me to fervently support them. I only support Russia, if Russia says there needs to be a Palestinian state, there needs to be a Palestinian state…

I say ditto to Russia in everything because fuck the EU. We Slavs should be using the riches of Siberia. I am no peacenik, the latter is a naive position for incorrigible idealists. There is an unforgiving struggle between superpowers and if you let your ass dream idealistically, others will take advantage of you.

News from Estonia says, the interior minister of Estonia says they can find Ukrainians, and will round them up. The rounding up of Ukrainians and sending to fight the Russians will be one big Zrada. I am not sure many countries are ready to do this.

Damn, I am Buying US Debt

As you probably know, I am into buying crypto…

So, recently I have identified 7 cryptocurrencies which I want to have in my portfolio by the end of next year…

They are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Solana, Monero, Litecoin, and USDC…

Bitcoin, Monero, and Litecoin are projects that I like personally, and that I think have a lot of potential. ETH, Cardano, and Solana can be staked. I wanna see how they behave.

USDC gains interest if you hold it, and can be spent using a Coinbase card. I am mostly investing in BTC and ETH and the other 5 I invest in on the margins.

USDC is a stable coin backed by US treasury notes among others…

So, I see a lot of anxiety about the phasing out of cash. People rightly fear the government will get much more control over transactions people make, and would be able to tax transactions, or tell people what they can or cannot buy. Currently, transactions in cash over €3,000 are banned in the EU. This right to cash is often taken up by the politicians.

But why are we defending papers and coins issued by a central bank? This is just fiat that they can produce at any amounts and while it appears to be a great medium of exchange because it is the accepted legal tender, it does not hold value…

I have been curious about the very question of what is money. Basically, I found my old crypto wallet and began buying crypto, and this naturally led me to this very fundamental question. I realized that cash as a medium is sorely lacking in many qualities. Not only is it prone to manipulation by forces that are outside your control but also it could be faked.

Crypto like Bitcoin has a limited supply, there will be 21 million Bitcoins at the end and the supply cannot be increased. Other cryptocurrencies work differently, Ethereum has a burning mechanism that controls the inflation, in which some tokens are burned by the system and that controls the supply. Cryptocurrencies like Monero allow anonymity in transactions. In my opinion the cryptocurrency world is a developing medium that could supplant fiat money in due time or become a parallel and competing way of exchange.

The above video shows that all kinds of shit was used as money historically… If you want to keep central bank issued fiat cash because you think it will maintain anonymity of transactions, you are simply not being thinking creatively. We can have those payments digitally if the government doesn’t get involved.

Crypto adoption in the West, where the fiat system is relatively stable is very low but in places like Africa or Latin America the adoption among people is much higher. Was crypto ever to become a popular medium of exchange in the West, the governments would likely try to ban it by saying it is used by criminals and terrorists. Currently, there are already attempt under way to roll out digital currencies issued by central banks.

Commie Blocks on Steroids

So, commies had this policy of housing everyone. And it was not all that bad if you ask me, many city dwellers lived in communal flats and young families did not have enough space. Hong Kong also moved boat people to flats and demolished the Kowloon walled city. This is not just the policy in commie countries.

I have a little problem with the commies settling nomadic and semi-nomadic peoples like the gypsies in flats. These people don’t have the habits of living a sedentary lifestyle, and I am generally against such intrusions into the lifestyle of people in general, on principle…

I am not sure commie blocks were a nice place to live. But under the commies they were kind of OK. But then capitalism arrived, and with it the need for profit. Commie blocks kinda stopped being built in Czechia. Cheap flat ceased to exist, even commie block flat cost through the roof now, even in provincial towns. In Russia developers continued building commie blocks but these new commie blocks became savage…

I don’t know, is this a good architecture, is this the way to build cities. Personally, I think the street level ought to have shops, doctor’s offices, hair dresser and nail salons. A high street with restaurants, bars, and arcades should be near by, the upper floors should have luxury lofts with a view and maybe even solar panel array on the roof.

It left me wondering if I am actually rich. I don’t have any debts and I collect rent. I own assets like stocks, bonds, and crypto, and I work for the state, matter of fact I am elected into a political office and the state pays me twice.

But I am a small fry, I might have assets worth six figures, (I hope to reach million dollars) I don’t generate a six figure income, yet… maybe when BTC rises to million dollars…

Vaknin’s take is that the essence of capitalism is the freedom of movement and the efficient allocation of capital also known as the invisible hand of the market. Unfortunately, social institutions like family stand in opposition to these two concepts.

A lot of commentators are mentioning that the capitalism that we have is more akin to feudalism, where there is a symbiotic relationship between the state and business. Increasingly, there will be a class of rich that will own everything and a mass that will own nothing.
