The Russians are apparently using Intel chips in their rockets. What’s this have to with Intel though? Anyone can buy Intel chips and ship them to Russia, this ain’t a problem of Intel really. Sternenko is too stupid to realize this…

Same thing with the Russian oil being made into petroleum products in China and India, then sold to the West. Folks thinking that sanction can solve this type of problems DON’T really understand how interlinked the global economic is.
The way I see it, the best way to deal with this, is to make sure your own industry is up to standard, so you can find ways to outmaneuver the other guy’s industry as well as providing for your own populations’ needs. If Ukraine is aiming at such, then yes, they’re on the right track at least. But Ukraine ain’t nothing like that. It’s not even US. With the shape Ukraine was before this war, they can’t even do shit on their own. Now, if they really hungry for pipi and decides to copy the development model deployed by Asian Tigers during Cold War, then they may be able to end up with something. But at the very same time, given Ukrainian nationalists already bitching about how the West doesn’t care about them, I don’t think this shit will get anywhere. Chupa pito por dinero ain’t gonna work for Ukraine.
