Things Are Getting Dramatic in Georgia

The former president of Georgia, Salome Zourabishvili refuses to leave the Oberliani Palace, as expected…

Meanwhile inauguration of the new president is happening in the Georgian parliament.

All this European integration is used as a carrot on stick for the average poat-Soviet donkey by the elites that more often than not serve the interests of Western countries instead of their own.

Russia does not have to do much. As soon as these countries get patriotic governments in, the latter will see the benefit of trade with Russia. Anyone claiming that reducing dependence on Russia is a good thing is working in the interests of Washington and not his own country.

Reports are coming in that Salome Zoursbishvili has left the presidential palace despite saying she will stay and fight. The Georgian authorities threatened her with arrest.

Georgian prime minister refused to continue talks on EU ascension for another 4 years. Which is another way of saying he will not deal with it. This ignited passions in the streets of Tbilisi.

The prime minister said the goal of the government to is to join the EU in 2030. Serbia and Turkey have waited in line longer.

I never got why EU ignites such passions. Life in Georgia sucks ass, and the EU has been sold to the masses as some kind of future salvation. So the idiots are now acting like somebody took their favourite toy. I think the government is too afraid to say outright they are changing course.

Lawmakers from the ruling Georgian Dream party last month approved the bill, which bans gender transitions and could outlaw pride marches and displays of the LGBT rainbow flag. The party says the law is necessary to protect Georgia’s Orthodox Christian church from outsiders.

Some Western countries have criticised the bill, casting it as part of what they say is a turn towards authoritarianism and alignment with Russia in country that had mainly leaned towards the West since the breakup of the Soviet Union.

So, the Georgian party “Georgian Dream” has created posters and videos to demonstrate that Georgia and Ukraine have two different fates…

Pro-Western political orientation will inevitably lead to war and destruction, something that you do not want. If you want peace, you have to make compromise with Russia, and prevent foreign meddling in your country.

The Georgians now have the “Russian law”, actually a law that the Russians have copied from the Americans. It is a law against grifters that take money from Soros. Czechia also needs a Russian law.

When I see these poor souls waving EU flags, I am baffled, don’t they know geography? Even if the EU wanted to, they would never be able to make Georgia in any way prosperous. If Georgia wants prosperity, it needs to be friends with Russia and Azerbaijan. Neither of which aim to join the EU or the West.

This shift towards the East is not just a thing with Georgia. It likely awaits other countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
