I Played Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered

So you don’t have to…

I couldn’t help myself and paid $60 for Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered, and for several weeks I played it. I did it out of nostalgia because I remember I played and even finished the OG Oblivion on X Box many years ago. So I wanted to recreate some of that experience.

But I became bored of this game in a while. The dungeons are pretty boring. You have to present something more handcrafted in the current year. Also, the bugs in this game made some of the quests unplayable. And so I dropped this game. Cannot say I can recommend this, it ain’t that bad but it does not meet the standards of contemporary RPGs. I am waiting for Skyblivion.

If You Play Oblivion Remastered You Support Rape

Why are there gaming journalists?

Everyone, who has played the Elder Scrolls series knows, at least the last two of them have a great soundtrack that immerses you in the handcrafted world. And the author of this music is Jeremy Soule. Jeremy had a little trouble with the ladies. They are accusing him of being a rapist. Those are serious allegation but these women have little to no evidence to back their claims.

Wes Fenlon

Jeremy’s reputation is fucked however. He is probably never going to get another job in the industry thanks to hysterical articles like the above. Hysterical feminists have cried rape so hard that the environment out there became dangerous for men. Ages old alleged events can ruin a man’s life, no matter how successful he might have been.

Nexus Removed a Mod Allowing Players to Choose a Gender for Their Characters in Oblivion: Remastered

Earlier on this blog, Nexus only allows race swapping when you swap a white guy for a black…

In modern games, the player is no longer given the choice between male and female but rather is allowed to choose body types. In Baldur’s Gate III for example you could choose between several body types and also the genitals of your character. You could literally have a female body with a large dick.

It is reported that Nexus removed a mod that allowed you to choose between women and men in the character creation. It lasted 40 minutes on that site. I wonder what the people that moderate Nexus look like.😆👌

Oblivion Remake is Upon Us

So, soon we will see The Elder Scrolls IV Remastered. A remake of the original ES IV is built on the creation engine and assets are made in Unreal engine. Some believe that Bethesda decided to commission a professionally made remake of the game to cash in on the hype of Skyblivion, a fan made remake built in the Skyrim engine that should also release this year. Some believe this is an attempt to blow the modders that make Skyblivion out of the water. This Oblivion Remastered will likely also be moddable so God knows what awaits us. I really hope that both projects will somehow serve as inspirations to each other, and modders will create the best Oblivion experience ever eventually.

It is said that combat will be improved alongside graphics. And this goodness should drop next week. I intend to play this and will record my gameplay. This is going to be fun after work.
