I think it was Simone de Beauvoir who said that women should be prevented from choosing the life of a homemaker because many of them would choose it. Kinda reminds me of the socialist regimes building the Iron Curtain to keep its population from escaping communist rule because if given the choice, these pesky humans always choose free enterprise and private property for some reason.

I watched the above video by Münecat and she says some studies say UBI was used by young mothers to spend more time with the kids. And it made me think of a post I made recently. In the post I have pointed out that women often put their career ahead of motherhood. Women don’t juggle the two very well. But the question, would UBI provide them with extra cash for child care, or incentivize the women to have children?
Speaking of UBI, it all comes to certain ways of thinking we have about production and work. And it reminds me of a post that I did recently, which dealt with a similar issue but concerning currency. We appear to be stuck in rigid ways of thinking informed by a paradigm that might not really be applicable in the currently rapidly changing world. The UBI might be inevitable as much of the jobs will be lost to AI.
But will not giving everybody cash just cause services and goods to raise in price as the vendors will know everyone has cash on their hands. But then again, increased competition would drive the prices down. Does a UBI have to be inflationary? Not necessarily in my opinion…

Bitches will be happy with UBI and the free time brought by having little jobs. But here’s the catch though. They won’t remain happy for long once they discovered how UBI won’t pay for their desire for daily milk bath, full body ultrasonic massage, yacht trip with them wearing probably just a thread somewhere buried inside their G-spot or what not…etc. Once upon realizing that, they’ll all scramming the universities and try to get like fucking doctor degree and shit.
Common men will be upset too, because they actually take Elon’s words literally. And they’ll scram the schools too, except there’s none of that comfort periods unlike the bitches. Grade schools and 4-year universities will be where the fiercest competitions be.
At the end of the day, they’ll all become super broke and unable to pay off their debts. Middle-class will be dismantled that way. And for banks, there may be some palace coup here between the banks and big tech, as banks won’t be able to make money off those who can’t pay off. Shits gonna be a clusterfuck.
That said, there are opportunities with these AI tech. I mean, hipsters love authentic shits, right? Just do exact opposite of AI, you get their money. And also, AI needs technician to maintain, right? Be the technicians. At the end of the day, the lonely males will want some fapping material, as their bitches be thinking about how to maximize their comfort from the UBI money, right? Time to draw and make that Patreon money. AI can’t do everything, right? Time to fill in the gap.
The only downside would be how the elites will try to disqualify folks like that and maybe even try to antagonize them the same way how today’s right wing has been targeted. But at the end, do the math…it’s all good. That said, with so many pissed off mother fuckers and dumb bitches around, it’s time to be that sigma guy. Use the money to PREP. Yeah sure, you can come out and fuck around here and there, but don’t be overindulge in that shit, as you’ll be drag down into the whirlpool and have no choice other than participate in the civil unrest as either elites’ defenders or the rioters and rebels.

I heard an interesting idea that this middle class thing is actually a myth, a mental construction the poor have created to feel good about their situation. What actually constitutes a middle class lifestyle? That your children have shoes? Or that you can go on holiday once in a year to a seaside? These things in the past sure were afforded to the more affluent, and this created this illusion of somehow coming into wealth, when all that happened was industrial production made these things more accessible. Back in the days, you had to take a carriage to Naples, and a boat to Capri. Now Capri is full of tourist, who come by low cost flights, where the seats are god awful but they take one hour.

I see your point. The way I see it? It was most likely those Ivy League big brain fellas who never had to deal with a single Goddamn thing I have to deal with. They came up with today’s idea of middle-class lifestyle in order to keep some sort of illusions towards the common peasants. Same reason why the Brits and Frenchs let go of their colonies in Africa and for countries like India. It’s not how “their struggles have achieved momentum”, but more like creating an illusion of freedom, so the colonial people could keep following them. Just make things easier to gain access to and you get the idea. It’s all about helping the peasants to cope better so the influence from Soviets and Mao wouldn’t land on the “Free World” and former colonies. But at the same time, they can’t afford to do so forever. They kinda have to come up with ways to eliminate the middle-class. Hence we’re in this mess in the first place. Of course, towards the end, they also allowed some who have became communist a chance, as the West wanted to clear off its own middle-class and they want foreign consumers and manufacturers.
Then again, it’ll only be a matter of time till they begin to fight for money. My stance remain the same: save what we can save among the born-and-raised middle-class, but the main focus should be made on how to deal with such chaos once it happens.
