This just to show how little does Zelensky knows about human nature. Most folks are into shits like the war in Ukraine to watch drama. That’s how people are when they see someone else’s misery.
This is why you should never tell your life story to other folks you don’t know and expect others’ sympathy, as 80 percents of them don’t give a fuck and just wanna watch shows and see how you get out.
If you get out, you’re the hero without them thinking about the difficult processes. They don’t even care.
If you don’t get out but got the charisma of average d-boyz and gangbangers, you’d be viewed as a tough guy who deserve to be sympathized by hoes and thots, only because that’s how folks have been conditioned to do since the 80s with the rise of helicopter parenting.
If you don’t get out and got only the average level charisma, if not the charisma of a typical Chinese international student and happens to be a dude, folks will either secretly if not openly say “ewww, what a loser”.
Meanwhile, 15 percents of folks are the romanticized sufferers who actually want you to suffer more than they do, so they get to feel better about their own sorry asses. Which leaves only 5 percents of hardcore idealists who will sympathize with your cause…good people, but sometimes some of these 5 percent make me wonder what their brains are made of. The world is a fucking jungle, and I can’t help but worry about them a bit.
That’s how people are. Yet Zelensky, despite being in the show biz prior to his presidency, doesn’t seem to know. Or perhaps he’s saying it out of desperation…I mean, a huge chunk of this war is about Zelensky wanting to maintain his approval rates as a president of Ukraine. At this point, if all the analysis are right, (from actual military strategy and tactic aficionados. Not from Western mainstream media, nor even the “open-source, nonbiased” sources of average NGOs and “whistleblowers”), then Zelensky would want some extra Wunderwaffe from US in order to look good – his approval rates will drop again at this rate.
