The reason why I’m saying this, is because based on my experience living in US, I’d say East Asians getting rid of the infantilism (other than bedroom activities that is) and raising their critical thinking skills collectively is American elites’ worst nightmares, and that’s why US soft power keep trying to paint any anti-Beijing/pro-US Asian as “critical thinker” and any Asian who’s pro-Beijing or not anti-Beijing enough, or even have legitimate concerns about American interests in the region as “sheeple”, “See See Pee shills” or “Winnie lovers who got anal probed for COVID”. It’s literally a massive social engineering project. You can spot it even on Reddit and 4Chan – believe it or not, Reddit and 4Chan, especially Reddit, are actually part of American soft power, except most users aren’t self-aware enough to realize it.
At the end of the day, it’s all about interests. Hitler turned his back against the West back then despite being funded by many big names such as Ford…etc, and he didn’t engage fights with Soviets as his early sponsors wanted him to, and Nazi Germany didn’t even allow the elites within US and UK to make any profit out of it. Those are the only reason why US and Europe made such a big deal out of Nazis. Same thing they did with Japan: I honestly don’t think anyone will interfere if Japan didn’t attack those colonies in Asia. Except for Japan’s case, I guess it was really up to MacArthur. He may have really looked into the type of values brought by the likes of Tojo and those generals in Japan as well as Jiang Kai Sheik of China and compared it China during late 1800s – early 1900s and Japan during Meiji Restoration as well as the feudalism prior to it and figured how US can churn out a fat check and make the entire Pacific Rim region its lagoon.This is why US allowed Japan and much of East Asia to uphold traditions while Germans could only express their nationalism through football.

You literally had much cooler weapons like the Javelin, the Stinger, the Bayraktar, Storm Shadow, HIMARS, they have all been hailed as super duper and some interesting tactical feats have been achieved with them. But overall they had little to no impact on the war.
The thing here though, is that Russia actually has its own version of those weapons you’ve mentioned, operating using the indigenous Russian technology AND Russia has ability to jam the drones Ukraine sent to attack Russian positions and Russia itself. All Ukraine can do is to boast about some brief moments of peremoha such as the attack on Black Sea Fleet HQ…etc. But other than that, they can’t really do much.
But the West will just keep highlighting these brief moments of peremoha to make Russia looks weak. Truth to be told, I believe the Western elites actually fear Putin. As long as Putin is around, Russia will never be able to have the same level of servitude they desire – they don’t want Putin’s corporation. Putin has gave it a try when he tried to join Nato when he first became the President back then when Second Chechen War was still around, but he was denied. They want servitude. In their views, Putin being in charge means no using Russia to contain China and most of all, no profits for them. All of these mean one thing: as long as Putin or other similar figures are still around and in charge or better yet, as long as Russians are still able to do critical thinking, the Western elites will always keep trying to make Russia look weak or double down on Russia and yes, even going as far as boasting Ukraine’s petty excuse of peremoha.
