These are the Russian demands on Ukraine:
- Rejection of NATO. Neutral status, Russia is ready to be one of the guarantors of this. (the other should be Belarus, no Western country should be allowed at the table)
- The Russian language should be the second state language in Ukraine. Any laws limiting the use of Russian should be removed.
- The recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea.
- The recognition of LNR and DNR within the borders of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
- Denazification. A ban on all radical nationalist parties, and organisations. Any legislature aimed at commemoration of Nazis needs to be removed.
- Demilitarisation. Complete rejection of offensive weapons.
