I thought they have different problems in Ukraine now but they are working on a pantheon of Ukrainian heroes and the ultimate heroes are the UPA that killed Poles in droves. And what else did you expect? Ukraine doesn’t really have a history beyond the nationalist struggle. Before it there was no state called Ukraine and no nation called Ukrainians. They invented Ukraine! And unfortunately there is a direct connection between the Ukrainian nationalist of WWI and WWII and today. Ukraine wouldn’t even be fighting this war if Banderites haven’t won in Ukraine in 2014.
