Georgian prime minister refused to continue talks on EU ascension for another 4 years. Which is another way of saying he will not deal with it. This ignited passions in the streets of Tbilisi.
The prime minister said the goal of the government to is to join the EU in 2030. Serbia and Turkey have waited in line longer.
I never got why EU ignites such passions. Life in Georgia sucks ass, and the EU has been sold to the masses as some kind of future salvation. So the idiots are now acting like somebody took their favourite toy. I think the government is too afraid to say outright they are changing course.

The Chinese airlines are making a killing transporting people from Europe to Asia. Following Russian invasion of Ukraine, to punish Russia, America’s lackies decided to deny Russia their Boeings and Airbuses. As a response, Russia denied its airspace to airlines from unfriendly countries. This means that Chinese airlines now have a monopoly on flights between Europe and North Asia, and South Asia has traditionally been the domain of the Arabs, Hong Kong and Singapore.

So these airlines instead of demanding an easing of sanctions against Russia, which could open up flight corridors over that country, would rather like to make travel to Asia expensive for everyone. No doubt their demands were encouraged by tariffs on Chinese EVs. Not like the price of EVs isn’t already high for the consumer, and the latter does not see it as a worth while expense for EV’s that are generally shit cars. He said mass immigration is increasing antisemitism, misogyny, and homophobia. 😆 Local leftists were singing “Bella Ciao!” a song of the Italian WWII partisans. They have implied that the opposition to mass immigration is fascism. Also, we are being told there isn’t any judicial freedom in Hungary. But we all know the biggest crime of Orban’s Hungary is the refusal to send taxpayer money to Ukraine.

For these transgressions, the EU is withholding 22 billion euros. No homosexuality, no Soros, and no immigrants means no money for you. Meanwhile, the Russians are building a nuclear power plant in Hungary. They used a barge to deliver components over Danube this summer… Danube is Hungary’s access to the sea. I remember the former president of Czechia, Zeman proposed linking Danube with Oder and Elbe. He was laughed at and so our only access to the sea is through Elbe. Maybe some forces want it that way.
Also, Hungary was the first European country to sign the Belt and Road initiative. I hear the Chinese are building transport infrastructure there. What more do you need? Electricity and transport infrastructure is the stuff modern economy needs. You need fast communication and fast delivery. The Chinese and the Russians have enough cash to finance these projects. They will extract revenue from the Hungarians later.
Do the Hungarians need 22 billion euros from the EU? Is it right to intimidate countries over serious issues like immigration, or trans propaganda to children using money? I am reminded of Elon Musk’s answer to the advertisers, who threatened to withdraw money if he didn’t censor the platform from politically incorrect. His answer was: “Go fuck yourselves!”
