We created a monster. A Moscow company has taken avoiding sanctions to perfection.

Russia unscrupulously bypasses the financial barrier erected by the West and successfully is avoiding enacted sanctions. Moscow company A7 uses fictitious companies, cryptocurrencies to launder money and also for special applications to falsify trade databases, an analysis of the New York Times has shown. New findings also concern an internal software used for falsifying databases of transactions and other not yet publicized data.
The background story was simple. The trading company of Kyrgyzstan, an official government institution payed $1 million for car rugs, polish for cars, protective glasses and ropes. In reality, these funds went to purchase parts for drones that help run Russian military machine.
The West thought they could use their technological superiority and control of the global financial system to hinder Russia. But the Russians will always find a way to go around.
