This is in Slovakia in the Carpathians. In Communist times there was a restaurant which probably served a shitty food, and now there are shops. This is a remote place probably so the shops serve the tourists and local people. The esthetics on both buildings suck ass. Both socialism and capitalism suck ass.
South Korea on the other hand is a society of haves and have nots. They have fanatical Christians, and feminists introduced by their American occupiers. They have dismally low birthrates. And they have autistic education system. So, the system in South Korea is not morally superior to that in the North. I wouldn’t like to live in either Koreas. They both suck a big one.

Everything the Westerner is told is regime propaganda, to a degree North Koreans would find disturbing particularly the absurd content.
They’ve at least got positive demographic and their “finial victory” could eventually consist of being 25 years younger on average & population parity.
Also the “UN forces” (defacto NATO) commited genocide against the Koreans between 1950-3 killing about two million in terror bombing. Just saying.
