The cities that existed in what is now Southern Ukraine collapsed because of climate change several millennia before the domestication of the horse. The migration of Indo-European horsemen happened around the time of the drying of the Sahara. Formerly lush, green areas that supported large population because water is life became arid deserts and grasslands. Grasslands are perfect for horsemen, and they moved into the area and scooped up what remained of the old population. There wasn’t any war as Timmy says.
But the gist of his video is that the Goths, pushed out by the Huns from what is now Ukraine destroyed the Roman Empire. EU beware!
