So, Civ VII is upon us, and it will include Russia. How fucking dare the developers do this? Russia needs to be ostracized and cancelled for daring to punish Ukrainian Nazis. How dare Russia do that?

The game gives katyusha rocket launcher and extra square damage to it. Which in my opinion is savage.

Only Russians get flack for genocide, Ukrainian genocide, Circassian genocide, Native Siberian genocide, whatever genocide. Western propaganda has done its job. Bengal famine, Irish potato famine are kinda forgotten, Holodomor under the rule of Georgian Stalin is still blamed on Russia. US genocide of Native Americans forgotten too. Do you know Hitler took inspiration from American settlement of the West, American racial segregation, and the American practice of eugenics? It is not about the atrocities you committed but who hypes this shit.

Circassian genocide is a thing that surfaced about two decades ago in the Russophobic campaigning. In the nineteenth century, Russian actions in the Caucasian and the Black Sea coast are nothing out of the ordinary, why are Bandeites from the US suddenly picking it up?

Warning to other games developers, if you include Russia in your game, to placate the Ukrainians you have to call it Muscovia.

For those who don’t know, the Ukrainians believe that the Russians stole the name Russia from Ukrainians, and the poor Ukrainians were forced to adopt the humiliating ethnonym Ukrainian and live with it ever after. The more svidomite of them however say, there used to be a horde named Ukry in antiquity. The former president, Viktor Yushchenko was a particular adept of this thinking. Ukry and Moskali Katsapy that stole name Rus from poor Ukrainians has both origins in Polish pseudo historical literature of the nineteenth century.

In reality, in 1720, the year Ukrs say the Russians stole their ethnonym, the Russia Tsar, Peter the Great changed his title from the Slavic corruption of Caesar, that is Tsar, to the Latinate Imperator. And thus Russia became an Empire rather than a Tsardom. “Muscovite” was a term used by the Westerners, particularly the Polish to differentiate the part of Russia they controlled and the part of Russia controlled by the state with a capital in Moscow. The notion that Russia’s neighbors are somehow more advanced and Russia is some kind of Asiatic horde that shits in the hole is a rather common feature of Russophobia.

Ukrs are insinuating that Catherine the Great had sex with horses. I don’t know where they have learned this disgusting disinformation. Their media and political discourse if full of garbage. The Ukrs have retroactively developed a grudge against Cathrine over the disbandment of the Zaporozhian host.
