Against Beach Going

Beach going was not always a thing. Beach tourism developed gradually in modernity and really became what it is today in the twentieth century…

Beaches are places of nature that the human has occupied because of his vanity. Human impact on beaches has only been detrimental. Beaches are actually the breeding ground for turtles, seals, crabs, birds… human presence disrupts this, and yet the beach is something humans can do without. There is a lot of habitat loss going on in the World due to human activity such as urban growth and agriculture.

Not really related but on the same page…

I don’t know if I have made it known but I am a huge tree hugger, and getting more bigoted with age. I am into this thing called Rewilding, that is the recreation of natural habitats, and the reintroduction of species into it. It is my contention that humans have been taking from nature for the last twelve thousand years and the time has come to give something back. I am personally planting a personal forest around my house. This shall serve as habitat for the birds and prevent erosion of the soil. It will also provide me with fire wood from the felled trees.

Humans don’t belong to the beach, the beaches belong to the seals…

The Sea Lion is a confident animal that lives in large packs but the Mediterranean Monk Seal is a more timid animal, and would not occupy a beach this brazenly. It needs our help, like fucking off the beach and swimming in a man made pool.

The sea is not a hospitable place and the humans do not belong there. My neighbor was in Turkey recently and got bit by a fish when swimming in the sea. People step on urchins. Medusa infestation is common, my relative was in Thailand on holiday and he said the beach was all closed because of it. This is the sea telling the humans to BTFO!

Humans should generally BTFO from nature altogether. Forest is not ours, mountain is not hours, river is not ours, the sea is not ours. I can accept river and sea transport of goods, although there are alternatives sometimes. I can accept fishing, I like fish. Release the bears and the wolves and keep out of the woods like in the days of old. Demarcate a world of men, and the preserve of nature.

  1. Didn’t know you were into environmentalism. You look like the least likely suspect tbh.

Then again though, if things such as port still exist, then we do have to interact with nature, right? Even birds may bump into planes, and you have crows, raccoons and opossums who eat our garbage. They’re all creatures of nature world.

Truth to be told, it’s us who need to worry about ourselves. However, the way I see it, while environmentalism does have its value – you don’t want the whole planet to turn into piles of trash now. But today’s environmentalism is mostly a rich people’s entertainment and meant to empower the green tech developers. The elites are divided; you have the big oil and big pharma, who’re against the whole deal; then you have the green tech guys, who want to challenge the big oil and big pharma.

The former are usually the old money who have been dominating shits for more than a century by now, while the latter are the new kid on the block, who’re forming narrative to attract supporters among those who can actually afford things such as living in a futuristic house by Malibu’s beach while drinking margarita and eating chips with guacamole (their daughters may wear the shortest booty shorts out there and all of them have that waxed poonani…or do they? They may have some super expensive and super comfortable vaginal rejuvenation treatment. Either way, don’t even let me picture the personality aspect).

That said, I would guess the military industry and the banks are the ones who remain the same and are least likely ones to be impacted by any argument from either side. The bankers seem to have more power over military industry, who have power over whatever else. Either way, those two are the true old money, and they see middle-class as a major threat. I mean, strictly speaking, we all should’ve realized it by now, that even without the argument of how today’s middle-class lifestyle was originated, no country can really sustain such lifestyle forever. And not to mention middle-class, with many who still have the mentality of peasants and serfs or even worse, the warped version of it, tend to have higher child abuse rates than lower-class and upper-class. The big oil, big pharma and green tech developers…all of them listen to these two and make sure these two’s profits are met, while throwing rhetorics at the publics to keep them divided, for their own gains and for fulfilling the goal for the big bosses, which is to divert publics’ attention.

One way to go about it; taking down the banks and keep military industry under control and the two goofballs’ arguments will become irrelevant and perhaps a balancing point can be reached – as for how to keep military industry under control…that would be a huge problem. It’s not Medieval Europe anymore, where you have churches who controlled this. And with China, there were emperors who controlled this, until the event of Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdom (907 AD to 979 AD), where the feudal lords went super wild and China got torn apart internally, which resulted in Song Dynasty’s way of going about it, where they reformed Confucianism – not as bad as the MacArthurian perversity and actually had a bit more compassion, but it did feminize Chinese males. And Chinese military industry, while less robust than Han or Tang, but more controllable. Controlling the military industry is a really tricky thing to do.

Or another way to go about it, I’d say…just follow the wisdom of Daoism and letting things unfold itself. When the reproduce rates drop to a certain level, the talking point will be shifted to how to keep the populations alive (I don’t think the elites are dumb enough to let the highly sentient AI to run everything for them). Perhaps by then, the banks along with many other lesser elites will make enough money to stop promoting bitches. Bitches won’t change immediately, but that said, perhaps after a few generations of parentless women who were reproduced through surrogacy, women may finally regain their common sense…probably not that Victorian shit (not that I’m too much of a fan for Victorian view on it anyways), but a mix of fun and common sense. But given the geopolitical situation we have today, it’s also possible that the West will collapse, and with Duginism, the world may enter into a Dark Age 2.0 and all these talking points will become irrelevant. The elites may just take their money and hide in some fancy places, much like House of Habsburg. Except they will be waiting for the world’s population to become sick and tired of Dark Age 2.0 and make a grand return, then here we go all over again.

    1. I have my own takes on environmentalism. Sure, the problem with human civilization and the natural world is there is a great degree of overlap. Animals find it easier to eat out of garbage cans than hunt for prey. This is why you have foxes in Central London. I am not against hunting and fishing. Humans are part of nature, and if they don’t over hunt or over fish, what is the problem. I don’t mind venison, or fish. But here is the issue, I believe humans are taking over natural spaces for leisure.

      1. Now I see what you’re saying. A lot of those folks who want to “experience nature”, actually just want to enjoy a type of nature-ish environment where they don’t have to deal with anything they don’t like. A lot of camping sites are built in a way that few animals may get in and so on.

They don’t really like nature, but just want a nature-ish thing where they get their asses all comfortable. This is actually what most of environmentalists are about. They’re idealizing nature world, and that’s why their arguments are so ridiculous.
