I am reminded by Putin’s recent visits to the Near East of this video I recently posted to my YouTube video dump. It features Zhirinovsky saying that the US is a greater threat than Napoleon and Hitler because they have rockets that can attack Russia from afar. He also suggests Russia makes alliance with the Middle Eastern countries to counter the US. He said they would have a financial dominance in the World.

Zhir really got plenty of things right, the way he acted made him unappealing as politician at ellections, but I kinda imagine plenty of successful monarchs, or some high ranking court people had his temperament

The guy was too smart for the plebs and he got bad PR in the nineties because back then most media was in the hands of liberasts and they hated his guts and concern for Russia. They called the latter nationalism. The guy was half-Jewish and a Turkologist. He was not your ordinary lout throwing sieg heils.
