I wrote Napoleon because he kicked off modernity in my part of the World. He forced the abolition of the Holy Roman Empire, curbed feudalism, emancipated the Jews. With him began a new era. Also, my ancestor fled to Moravia from West Germany to save himself from the French.
They made a movie about him I just watched it. Don’t waste your time, it was pretty shitty. The Frech are mad because the whole movie they spoke American. But Jakim Pheonix doesn’t speak French, so fuck em.
Here’s my point: this great man reigned for like 10 years before the people turned on him. Despite many victories, it took only one humiliation for him to be cast away.
You say he kicked off modernity? Well there it is in my opinion. The mob is fleeting and fickle. The French Revolution predicated modern world of Democracy.
And now what do we have? A group of elites ruling from behind the scenes, concieled by propoganda and distraction.
Democracy is a degenerate system ruled by those with money. The masses are pacified by mass media. Napoleon was not a democrat, he was a leader. I think he really pushed modernity in my part of the World, he inspired the unification of Italy and Germany, he has undone feudalism and emancipated the Jews. I have not seen the movie, and I am not planning to.
