What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

I used to be an economic libertarian when I realized that the most productive countries that lifted themselves from nothing like South Korea, or Singapore did so thanks to tight state control and even expropriations that would be unthinkable elsewhere. I realized the free market is not always the holy grail. I am still in favour of letting people make money but the state need to have some vision and even control.

  1. The best way to go about it, would be to understand the true meaning of economic and power. I treat economic like muscles. It’s not about sizes of it, but what you do about it. This is why the promotion of all the shits such as feminism and the rampant, uncontrolled concept of freedom of speech as a way to make cash is highly shortsighted, as in those scenarios, the only benefactors would be the CEOs. If a country doesn’t have a industry of its own nor the willingness to have some control over its natural resources, it’s bound to become a pseudo colony, no matter how much cash it has.

    1. Singapore is a pseudo colony, it depend on the US for defense but they built a modern city, with good education, medicine etc. I don’t think the South Koreans are particularly rich but they got to where they are quite quickly. Whereas, the country I live in used to be an industrial centre throughout the twentieth century and today it is regressing.

      1. I think, the thing we’re seeing with South Korea, Singapore and other economic powerhouses in Asia, is due to the result of US exporting middle-class lifestyle since the 50s, and in conjunction of Confucianism, which results in the simping clusterfuck populations among the civilians and massive case of liberation pussies. But it also brings order and stability. But US did it for geopolitical related reasons, as I’ve mentioned before. Once US finds it irrelevant to keep East Asian middle-class alive, East Asia will suffer the same fate as that of EU.

Also, if you do the calculation using the same methods of how both of us figured out Ukraine, you’ll notice one thing: the main benefactors are actually those Korean chaebols and the most influential people within Singapore such as Lee family. People are constantly well-fed, but live a miserable life and deal with hyper-competition, and local media blame it on the Confucian tradition itself (as opposed to my take, where I stated how we’re dealing with a Frankenstein version of Confucianism in conjunction with neoliberalism and middle-class lifestyle imported from US). This resulted in the easiest influenced demographics, the Asian women, daydream like nonstop when those sweet snacks and exhibitionist tendency of their lower bodies won’t save their asses. Shit even some white expats find these Asian bitches annoying – it’s just the expats’ emotional vagina and the lust of shitting on the castrated Asian dudes prevent them from saying all of that out loud. All in all, the benefactors order goes like this: it’s US corporations > Asian elites > Asian women > Asians like me who say fuck it and play the game under our own rules (we got the cojones to not give a fuck after all and it rewards us social freedom) > well-behaved, super piteous Asian middle-class and goofy ass Asian middle-class simps.

If you ask me, Europeans got the basic shits right. The problems come after almost entire Europe, under the banner of Brussels, which is mostly controlled by Atlanticists as of now, have been relying on US way too much. The people have critical thinking skills that common East Asians can only dream of, but these people are usually scrutinized; unless they throw in a bit of that China threat cards, their political careers ain’t going nowhere. One got oppressed smart people but complete cuck governments; another got a cuck-ish government that happens to be smarter with money, but a complete dumb fuck excuse of population (other than those who’re like me and said fuck it that is). Well, pick your poison.
