How would you design the city of the future?

Honestly, in our post-industrial society, people are divided into consumers and producers. It would be best if the producers were as close to the markets and markets as close to the consumers. Big cities should completely eliminate cars if possible, and replace them with comfortable public transport. Unlike many right wingers, I do not mind the idea of 15 minute cities and the elimination of cars. Cars kinda a suck, I realized it on a holiday in Italy last May. They stink, and they don’t even look too good. They take up space that could be used differently. Travelling too far for work or to markets for food is energy inefficient, and can get expensive. I am not sure yet about the various electric scooters rentals. They normally end up in the river in Prague.

  1. Sounds like a great idea I must say. I’ve thought of this before ..what if public transportation become more advanced and Americans don’t need cars no more. But as how things are today, I’d say to avoid big cities altogether if you can for the time being. I’m eyeing on off the road vehicles such as jeeps or land rovers. I already have such a shit relationship with my family so I got no human relationship luggages to begin with. However, given my current incomes, it may take a few years to materialize, but when I’m done, my shit gonna be so ripped that not even a fucking zombie outbreak can break me.

    1. The mayor of my town of some 4,000 people says a wheal chair friendly bus that would run between the city quarters and surrounding villages would be too expensive. But I have seen something of the kind in Italy, and it did not seem like they had no money for it. Out here in the countryside you are completely relegated to a car. I think larger cities are better suited for such experiments. But honestly, I think only Japan manages to pull this off. Diverse mega cities in Europe and North America do not.
