Africa is a dark continent in that it is not interesting for the mainstream media. Nobody gives a fuck about what happens in Africa. But is Russia really trying to kick the French out of Africa for good?

From Wikipedia:
thousands of pro-coup Nigeriens gathered in Niamey’s Place de la Concertation, in front of the National Assembly, and went to the French Embassy carrying Nigerien and Russian flags, with slogans such as “Down with France, out with Barkhane, we don’t care about ECOWAS, the European Union and the African Union!”, “Arrest the former dignitaries to return the stolen millions.”, and “Down with France, long live Putin!”.[48][49][50] The demonstrators also called for an immediate intervention by the Wagner Group.[49]

This is how an effective approach to Africa looks like! All Russia did was to make sure grains go to Africa, as opposed to keep relying on Ukraine, on top of giving Prigozhin hints where his next moves should be. Look at China…invested so much and yet, there seems to be some level of populist anger towards Chinese presence in Africa. China should portray itself as some sort of inspiring leader that can bring changes rather than business partner who might get shitted on later anyways. I’ve been saying since around the time of the drama in Central African Republic that Russian approach seems to be way more sensible. Russia got that show no fear attitude going, as opposed to China, who may seem like it’s making gains, but at the cost of having the whole move turn into a Western propaganda piece with that loaning bullshit (that’s what happens when one doesn’t wanna upset the status quo) and that populist anger.
Like I always said, Russia stands a way better chance at replacing US and becoming the next leader of the world. Those who say otherwise are paying attention to statistics and may have ignored the ground realities, as opposed to my type of approach to analyzing, where I focus more on ground realities (how happy the citizens are; how well Chinese citizens are treated abroad on average level as opposed to Russians; the actual military capacity and most of all, the military’s experience at war; the relationship with neighbors…etc), than numbers and I only use data and stats as supportive arguments. Doing business with governments won’t change much. China will learn it the hard way when it finally realizes that it could just focus on the social rejects across East Asia and become their champion instead of all the GDP competition, border disputes, nationalistic chest bumping…etc, which I’ve been saying since back in 2017! Now, when those old dudes in Beijing finally realizes it, I’d be like “holy shit! It took you that long?”
Putin is simply a better strategist than Xi, plain and simple! Xi needs to update his idea on strategies because at this rate, I’ll have to come out and say I have more confidence in Putin’s strategy than Xi’s.
