I do not understand this escape from progressivist woke agenda into conservatism of the past. Doesn’t anyone remember the last time conservatives were somewhat prominent in America? The satanic panic and intelligent design? Here in Europe, most conservative governments have disappeared by 1970s. Arguably, the Bolshevik regimes in Eastern Europe were somewhat conservative as they banned things like pornography and homosexuality but they weren’t really traditional.
The problem is that Christianity as presented by the books of the Bible was throughly discredited by Copernicus and Darwin, and no longer provides answers to the universe and life on earth. The issue is that opposing it is an equally demented discourse of the progressive left, with women’s rights, homosexual rights, other minority rights… It would seem like they have exchanged one bullshit ideology for another.
Yours truly is a libertarian, he just wants to be left alone and not lectured by self righteous twats about what is right or wrong.
Insomniac Resurrected 
You know what? This reminds me so much of the philosophical aspects behind Matrix Resurrection. Yeah I’ve finally watched it online. The problem here I believe, is that folks don’t really know what to think. They can become extremely unhappy with their lives but won’t do a thing. Most folks require some external agitator to do something. See those protests, riots and color revolution? None of them will happen without some form of agitation from the NGOs.
In another words, most folks are easy to control. All they want is someone to say what they want to hear. No, they’re not there to seek true improvement. Now, the ones who seek improvement such as Galileo, Darwin, Tesla, Einstein and many other big brained scientists and philosophers often don’t seem to realize that. The improvers know they’re not happy, and they see others are also suffering from the same shit. But what they failed to realize, is that others just hope for some kind of magical button for all of these to stop so they can live a life according to their inner feelings. With that being said, many of these improvement may just lead to others to degenerate and may allow for a set of questionable influencers to surface, which is why we’re dealing with what we’re dealing with. It’s another way to look at it.

Humans in general are pretty stupid and getting stupider as the 130 IQ nerds are remaining virgins. Being stupid means you are a follower because you cannot think for yourself.

And the reason why folks are getting stupider…I hate to sound boomer, but I really think internet may really have something to do with it. With the power of internet, it’s easier for folks to convince themselves that they’re smart and they’re always right. I mean, most folks use internet to either circle jerk or to troll if not downright bully others. And the more you do it, the more you gonna convince yourself that you’re smart, and the more self-righteous you’ll end up becoming. Self-righteous idiots are the worst, because they’ll have hard time convincing themselves that they’re being stupid, therefore they won’t even have the desire to improve. The fact that many questionable characters use social media for some really questionable purposes don’t help for one bit. At the end of the day, folks just want to feel good and believe that they’re smart, and the result is one bunch of idiots fight against another bunch of idiots, and throw in some target for the purpose of blame shifting in case if shits go south, you get today’s general population.
The most ironic part of it, is how internet was invented by a bunch of big brained fellas. This is one thing about the big brained people; if they don’t understand how human minds work, their invention and ideas may end up in a smoke.
