I really think Elon was scared into keep providing Star Link service to Ukraine. The government elites may have paid him a visit over his row with Kiev. Well, the man’s no saint, but you gotta respect him for at least having some sense of dignity.
Precisely. Elon was hoping to do business with both Russia and Ukraine, but Ukraine’s own emotionalism almost fucked it up. If it wasn’t for the whatever conversation the government had with Elon, Ukrainian troops would have hard time at even communicating with their HQ.

I also think Elon is not very fond of Ukraine. The man is a businessman, I don’t judge him on moral basis.
