Zelensky gave American envoys t-shirts saying “Kiev regime”

I was using this term from day one in the memorable year of 2014, but I understand that Zelensky hears Putin say this. But I wonder when did the latter start using it…

The Kiev regime is completely illegitimate since 2014 because it is a result of violent coup. Ukrs normally say that the president fled but never mention why did he flee. And technically Russia could force a condemnation of alľ the actions of Turchynov, Poroshenko and Zelensky and declare any of these governments illegal and therefore illegitimate. The Russians chose not to press things and work with anyone in Kiev at first but this was not respected.
