Tomáš Zdechovský, Czech MEP for Christian Democrats accused the Pirate Party of defending pedophiles, after the latter opposed Chat Control Law, which I hear was not passed. The Pirates say the Chat Control would keep an eye on more than just child porn being shared over chat services. Ivan Bartoš of the Pirate Party called Zdechovský a clown. Zdechovský told Bartoš to stop consuming marijuana.

The Pirate position on Chat control is commendable, no Eurocrat needs to read what I say in private. However, it is known that pedos use WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger to share content so it is easy to accuse the Pirates of supporting pedos. The Pirates support weed legalization but I doubt Bartoš is a frequent consumer. The Pirate party are a refugee welcoming, pro-Ukrainian scum just like Zdechovský.
