What are your future travel plans?

Maybe Subsaharan Africa, the East Coast of Latin America. In the distant future but at present a spa in Italy, as always.

Dogs. Cats wander around and kill birds.

Are you seeking security or adventure?

I have been in some rather dangerous situations in my life. They could have ended in major injury or jail time. I am no longer even physically able to go on adventures such as those I experienced when young. So I take it easy.

What is your favorite genre of music?

I like electronic with heavy metal rifts…

Describe your most memorable vacation.

I personally like my vacations to be boring as I use them for rest. And that’s what I call a true vacation. I have otherwise travelled to many places around the world.

What’s your definition of romantic?

Romanticism is a nineteenth century style of art. I like it a lot, it transports me into a world that no longer exists, a rapidly changing world. It is a snippet in time that expresses the longing for times of heroic past when people lived closer to nature. It feeds my vison of future utopia when people might again return to living in harmony with their natural environment, where beauty and heroism have their place.

What are you most worried about for the future?

I am worried about the gradual decline of civilisation.

What makes a teacher great?

If the teacher actually teaches useful stuff and is not engaged in political indoctrination.
