Experts said misogynistic influencers are a public health threat driving violence against women and called for certain content to be banned on social media
According to the authors of the report, published in The Lancet, the movement – which centres around a perceived masculinity crisis and a belief that feminism has systematically disadvantaged men – has contributed to many public health problems.

They cited social exclusion and isolation as factors for those likely to access the content, and suggested boosting employment and skills to improve access to jobs, re-engaging boys in education and ensuring “equitable access to mental health and other frontline health services” to help address those at risk.
I just love it how the media put Andrew Tate on every headline as the face of online misogyny. It makes me think that Andrew Tate was a psy-op. Because I know of anti-feminist content and discourse since like 2008 or 2009. And Andrew Tate didn’t come up with anything new. All his talking points were already said hundred times before. But the difference was the reach, and the attraction of the media to his persona. And honestly, while the early manosphere types tried to cope with a changed landscape of relationships between the sexes, some would become PUAs, others would become MGTOW, yet others would escape into some traditionalist religion like Islam or Orthodox Christianity, with Tate I see what I would call the “troglodytic manosphere”. Extreme patriarchal, macho attitudes and repeal the nineteenth. How is this fucking productive?
Men have issues, vast numbers of them were deselected by women. My entire sexual history is smash and dash, and I am glad I never made any of the women my wife. The inability to find a suitable long term partner is another problem men face. 40% of people out here in Czechia live single. 50% divorce rate, in Russia it is like 70%. Women are extremely politicized to the left, especially young women, the cohort that is most attractive and most fertile. They are influenced by dumb ideologies, they are in debt, they have many sexual partners.
Furthermore, we live in gynocracies, women have privileges, sometimes over men. Women don’t have to sign up for a drafts. If shit hits the fan, men will be kidnapped from the street, while the ladies can just leave and shack up with Abdul or Mustafa and cuck their husband, who is sitting in his own excrement guarding some trench in the Donbass. Women can cuck their man and have another man’s kid, and write the sucker they are living with into the birth certificate as the father. In France you can’t even have a gene test because there is presumed militancy of men. Children deserve to know, who their father is, DNA testing at birth, please! In places like Russia, the women can get pension earlier than men, the men in Russia die significantly earlier than women though.
I have only touched the surface here but as long as the situation exists, as long as inequalities persist, and as long as the state keeps fucking over the men, there will be groups online and offline that will spread discourse inconvenient to the feminist establishment. And I agree this space is full of shysters that sell lonely men dumb courses. The social media companies could also be running commercials and making money from people watching this content. But initiatives such as the one under review are nothing but calls for censorship.
