I am here to say that the universal suffrage is the highest of values of liberal democracy, it ranks even higher than open borders or love of homosexuality. Woe be to a politician that is seen as anti-woman. So you rarely see a push back on things like abortion, or some other feminist causes. Since it became a thing, starting early twentieth century, no government in the West ever took a way women’s right to vote.
The Nazis were very anti-feminist, and they used the conservative slogan Kinder, Küche, Kirche that is Children, Kitchen, Church, to show women their place. They were very much against what we today call the boss babe archetype and unlike contemporary companies did the complete opposite of DEI. Granted towards the end of the war they mobilized the women into the factories. And the Nazis never withdrew the right of vote from women as far as plebiscites were a thing in the Third Reich.
