I never understood Christian Zionism. I can understand that somebody can be sympathetic to Israel over the Palestinians. Israel might be the archetype of modernity, progressivism, technological superiority etc. While the Palestinians represent backwardness, rigid conservatism, technological inferiority. But a lot of sympathy towards Israel is motivated by Western Christians having idiotic ideas about the Jews.

And this is not just evangelicals in the US that are fucked up like this. I have listened to Czech Catholics telling me how the existence of Jews means the Bible is true? No motherfucka, the Bible is an Iron Age text that explains the World in childish and primitive terms typical for 300 BC, where any form of intellectualism failed to find a fertile ground. The existence of descendants of Israelites of Antiquity doesn’t mean shit, this is modernity. Copernicus and Darwin have put a dent into ancient primitivism. Of course some more gifted Christians believe that Israel is herald of the end times, and when Jews build a temple, Jesus is going to come back, and will kick the money changers out again.

Basically, Israel is a bunch of Jews in Europe deciding to create their own nation at a time when everybody was creating theirs. If the Czechs can have their country, then who says the Jews cannot? In fact, the Zionists had to go against their own religious leaders, who did not always find a nation state to be to their liking. Likewise, these days the goyim are not in congruence with the Israelis when it comes to nationalism. Certain notorious regime practiced extreme nationalism and lost a war.

Essentially, nationalism as practiced in Israel or in Ukraine is something alien to EUropeans or RFianas. Large, transnational states or superstates have an issue with nationalism. Also, nationalism never scored political points in Czechia. The Czechs have always been rather secure in their nationalism to care much about nationalist politicians. Today, the nationalist vote is harnessed by a guy, who is half-Japanese in Czechia. 😆👌

So anyway, to sum up this rant. Christians that support Israel because they think Jesus is gonna return and convert the Jews to one true pork eating uncircumcised faith are a bunch of idiots but some are in the US government. Some are speaking in tongues and that is fucking scary, and this is why I think the Democrats must win. Somebody needs to balance this shit out.
