So, I was doing a little research on 2010s for some project I am working on, and I used Google Trends to search for some viral terms of that period. And searching Слава Україні that is Glory to Ukraine came to mind, and Google once again committed a fucking zrada on poor Ukraine.
You see, before 2010, hardly anyone gave a fuck about Слава Україні and 2010 is a time when Neonazis protested Yanukovych’s government. And if you search for Слава Україні online then you will find that Svidomites trace this term all the way to Taras Shevchenko but its current popularity is derived from it being used by Ukrainian Nationalists, who were allies of Hitler. It is literally a Nazi slogan. And as you can see, its popularity peaked during Euromaidan and definitely after the Russian invasion.
In my opinion the slogan is astroturfed like everything else in Ukraine, everything in Ukraine is fake and gay, the flag, the language, the coat of arms, and the anthem, and so are their slogans lifted out of Stepan Bandera’s anus. And Russia is doing a good job cleaning out this bullshit. And you see, the idiots got this radical nationalism, while the non-Ukrainians in charge use Ukraine as a milking cow. And you idiots are sending you hard earned cash to Ukraine because you feel Ukraine is kinda innocent and doesn’t deserve all that has happened to them. You are dumb, that’s all I can say. But please, send all your money to Ukraine.
