5 million CZK ain’t much. It is $250k. Trying to punish Russia for 1968 is some boomer shit. The intervention was of countries of the Warsaw Pact. We shared a tiny border with the USSR and the Soviet tanks and planes had to pass through Poland and East Germany. Both countries participated fully in the intervention. The USSR also included Ukraine, and many of the decision makers, executors, and soldiers on the ground were Ukrainians.
Also, the intervention was to suppress reformist Communists, so the libshits that want to take revenge on Russia today are crying over reform Commies being crushed. Not to mention, the intervention had a wide support among Czech Communists and 2 million Czechs were members of the Communist party in following years.
