Kosovo has alway been about a big ass American base in the Balkans. It is a country of a big ass American base. It may as well be called Camp Bondsteel. The existence of Kosovo is a national humiliation of Serbia and sooner or later the later would want a revenge.
The Serbian protests are interesting. Whereas in Slovakia, the participants held EU and Ukraine flags, and were asserting their European identity and were critical of Fico’s visits to Moscow, you see no such shit in Serbia. The Serbian protests seem about a corrupt government, and might actually be quite nationalist in character.
It is not the first time in recent months I hear about the Serbia. Let’s watch this space…

The protests in Serbia are interesting because students kicked out opposition and NGOs trying to join. And now the USAID papers are coming out so all the political fags are getting nervous.
And yeah protests simply started demanding of government to get its shit together. Problem is, it’s impossible because president is dependent on it. So it’s like indirectly against government. And I’m not sure about nationalist, but there’s no EU flags, meanwhile there’s many Orthodox icons in crowd.
