The East Europeans buy weapons mostly from America. But in the case shit hits the fan hard and say Lithuania gets attacked by Russia, how many soldiers can Czechia send to help Lithuania? Czechia has 30k soldiers, out of which 4k are active reserves. We have nothing.
Also, people do not realize that NATO most of all are national militaries and not some huge force.
