So I was wondering in my posts about drone (see here and here) what will the future of tanks be. We have seen countless of videos of FPV kamikaze drones slamming into military vehicles and doing incredible damage…
And the answer likely will be Testudo Tanks:
So called cope-nets or something of the kind will be seen more in future.
The above are two projects, a South Korean Armata and a new Bradley. Both as you can see have more armour.

Actually, Forbes fucked up in their reporting. The name of the tank was Gromozeka, which is this cartoon character:

Not sure how thick the armor is, and not sure how well they fare against mines. Either way, I doubt it’ll come out before 2030. I think the best way to go, would be find a way to take down the drones combined with a better anti-mine capacity. Speaking of which, correct me if I’m wrong, but I do recall T-14 have that remote-controlled machine guns, which may be able to handle these drones. But so far, T-14 hasn’t made it to the battlefield in Ukraine yet. Words is it has just entered into the service. Perhaps as the war drags on, we get to see what it’s truly capable of.
