I used to listen to rap of American negroes as a child but I always kinda disliked Russian rap I didn’t know why but one of the bands in my day was Kasta.
Main Russian language rap band, which made Russian language rap an independent and important musical phenomenon. In their songs, which have become classics of the genre. Kasta touches upon person anxieties and heightened social problems. The musicians have appears at protests, and in 2022 they have condemned the war, they have released an anti-war album, and they have emigrated.
Noize MC is one of the most famous Russian musicians. He performed at the demonstration “for honest elections” and became one the authors and performers of a song in memory of Aleksey Navalny. He condemned the war and made a series of charity concerts in support of Ukrainian refugees.
One of the main protest groups in Russia. Their songs are dedicated to acute social and political problems of the country: poverty, torture, lawlessness and “Russian world”. The concerts of Pornofilmy (the group is literally called Porn Films) began to be shut down by the siloviks long before it became a mass phenomenon (meaning the closing of concerts) during the war.
Maybe the siloviks realized these are a bunch of degenerates that deserve a boot on the face and a batton on their arse.
“Aigel” is an electronic hip hop duet of the musician, Iliya Baramia and the poetess and singer (with a bitch face and facial tattoos) The songs of this group have really audacious lyrics, raising social, political and existential issues, and a heavy sound that is not typical for the genre. The artists condemned the war, and received a ban on concerts , and they emigrated.
Mother fucker, the country is at war, and your musician ass is unqualified to judge anything. Russia does not need your treasonous ass, good riddance for the country. Ukraine is literally used by the West to cause trouble for Russia and needs to have its ass kicked and shown its place. Every midwit Russian that is against the war should have no place in Russia.
It is ironic they are doing a concert in support of the Russian nationalist, Navalny, who would not return Crimea to Ukraine.
