Dissident Diasporas Kinda Hate the People

I recently found two pieces of internet content…

The second one is a podcast with an Ekho Moskvy journalist, who has recently emigrated to the Czech Republic. In it she says that even if Putin fell tomorrow, she would not return back to Russia because apparently the Russian public supports the agression against Ukraine or whatever…

A phenomenon I noticed is the dissidents often blame their own fecklessness on the people, who vote Putin.

  1. Based on my experience within Chinese American community, many of these dissidents type are the angry and dissatisfied people. They were mad at their own country for not having democracy and human rights, but despite all their efforts, I don’t think they can pretend anymore on how the West is much better. Despite how they claim they’re so lucky, they know the truth deep down. This can cause them to become insecure, and this insecurity can make them vile and just overall horrible people to deal with, as they’ll lash out at anyone who cast even slightest doubt about their shits. You wonder why Pussy Riots always look so angry? This is the reason. And when it comes to Western politics, many of them tend to become wing nuts…the ageing boat people from Vietnam and their emotional gangsta excuse of children (depending on the children’s critical thinking skills) as well as those Chinese dissidents and their children with the tenderized booty (once again, depending on the children’s critical thinking skill) tend to be some of the worst Trumpublicans, while the Russian ones may end up voting for Democrats or anyone who’s willing to damage Russia. Both are equally psycho once you get to know them in person. Nowadays I just laugh it off when I hear their usual bullshit. They think Muricans like them more…pssssh yeah right.
