I heard that story. It is part and parcel of living in a big city. Solitary women are prey to predators. My ex lives down town and says she is being stalked by strange individuals all the time. I am not surprised given where she lives. I don’t know much about that Belarusian girl, maybe she was active in the opposition and had a reason to leave.
