    1. I took the image from your Facebook by the way. Maybe the “coup” was managed by Western secret services because all the Western funded Russian drones have supported it as if by command. When suddenly it was apprehended and managed by Russian authorities.

      1. This is one thing I wanna bring up: there are indeed Russians who believe Prigozhin’s side of story. I think the longer the war drags on, the more Russians will begin to doubt Putin. Especially true for those with a bit more…emotional personality and are more likely to take things for surface values rather than to dig deep into it. You’d be amazed at how many people who’re like that…Russians, Chineses or Americans alike.

Based on what I see overall, it’s not exactly about how they’re ultranationalist, but about how they don’t truly understand what Putin is trying to accomplish in Ukraine. They need to understand this; it was never Putin’s intention to take over entire Ukraine and hang Zelensky by the balls (that would be epic imo, but that’s not what Putin wants). Wars have objectives and if the objective is to end Ukraine right then right there like how Bush ended Saddam, then the war would be over by now – the Russian troops in Ukraine may be fighting waves of insurgency sponsored by NATO, but it’ll be different. Putin wants to take over the East and the South, as they were part of Russia and there are huge Russian populations there, then leave rest of Ukraine to do their own things. That’s Putin’s original plan as Putin still kinda have a live and let live attitude about it. I have my personal opinion about such approach, but I keep it to myself as I’m not Russian and I had similar type of disagreement on tactics with Beijing before, and the responses I got from my fellow Chinese weren’t exactly great…just imagine if I do it with people who’re even less related compares to other Chinese.

Anyways, I think Putin needs to make sure most Russians actually understand what Putin is trying to accomplish. Putin is like this; folks tend to have problem at understanding what he’s trying to do until way later. This typically work out well for him, but this is no small matter.

      2. The Russian government is notoriously bad at communicating its own positions. I can’t say whether it is for the good or not, maybe it is good to keep quiet about things sometimes, which might leave some people confused. I have leaned to stop worrying and trust Putin.
